Btw, is there a chance we could see flooding and severe ship list in the critical hit sections, Matthew? I love those in the Naval Thunder game.
Glad to see my Naval Thunder still getting some love around here. LOL Excited to see VaS 2.0 moving forward!

Re: Returning player from the B5 era.

You're better off with the Hotzmats FYI. Corsecs have the appearance of being washed out.

Re: VaS 2.0 confirmed!

As for Germany beating Britain, I think an Ango-American war might have hastened air power advancements a tad for both powers, and then the Battle of Britain would have gone even more so to the British. I actually don't think that would be the case. Had there been no Washington treaty and a chain o...

Re: VaS 2.0 confirmed!

"Ango-American war of the 1930s". The world would be a VERY different place if that had happened... You know, I am not sure it would. In my view (and mine alone!), I think it would have been stalemate. The US would not have been able to advance across the Atlantic against the Royal Navy (I am not e...

Drones - What are they (no rulebook yet)

So I'm not really too familiar with SFB/FC.

What exactly are drones? Some type of ship to ship missile? What's the fluff behind these things?

Re: Sell me on ACTA: Noble Armada

A little reality check here people: NA is going to die on the vine with the release of ST. Mongoose might make attempts to keep it going for a while with the occasional new release, but the reality is the money is in ST and they have to follow the money. A lot of NA players will switch to ST making ...

Pre order in US$??

Looks like the pre-order for ACTA:ST is only in pounds. Used to be you could purchase through this site in $USD also. I clicked on the little US flag, but it still gives me the GBP price.

Is it possible to pre-order in USD these days?

Painting service

Saw the "new website" thread below. This is also a good source for painted minis:

www.mywifepaintsbattleships.com

It has the advantage of being by commission rather than just whatever the guy happens to paint.

Can anybody give me a cogent list of the books in these series, order, titles, authors, etc?

I own and have read Falkenberg's Legion many times. Was not aware there were other books that shared the same universe!

GenCon anyone?

Anyone here playing in my VaS events on Sunday at GenCon? If you'd like to but didn't pre-reg, unfortunately they've been sold out within hours of me posting them months ago. . . but you can usually count on at least 1 no show, so if you're really interested, there's always the chance there might be...
