Re: State of Legend

M-Space is an okay adaptation of Mythras to SF, but lacks a lot of what I want in an SF RPG (the author admits he's not a "gear guy" which explains why tech.....which is really important to an SF game as I see it, is lacking in M-Space). River of Heaven is a better and more rounded package using Ope...

Re: Mongoose Traveller - The New and current updated edition. What do you expect from this new line?

I'm really hoping an Aliens Guide is in the works that would be comparable the alien book that was released for T4E, or at least similar in scope to the already released High Guard and Vehicles Handbook. As a Traveller referee I would find 20-30 pages on each major race in a collected one-book guide...

Re: Monsters of Legend - Back in Print

I'd like to know if the reprint incorporates the errata as well. I'll be picking up a new copy if it does (and donating my old copy to a worthy player).

Re: Gladiators of Legend; Mini-Game?

Any update on when this goes to print? I don't even see it listed under the Legend listing on the Mongoose site anymore, and my FLGS says they're still looking for it.

Re: The Spider God's Bride

I have it and I'm reading it right now. I blogged about it briefly, but to restate what I posted so far: This isn't exactly a surprise to me as I was familiar with Xoth a long time ago when it was a D20 resource for Hyboria but seriously...Morten Braten has outdone himself. Look, I don't really like...

Re: The Spider God's Bride - PDF and Offer!

Well dang, I just bought the PDF on RPGNow (amazing book) and decided to come over here to see about ordering it. Did that all backwards...gah.....

To everyone else: get this book, its already my top choice for "best setting/scenario book" of 2013.

Re: Pirates of Legend

You could always just say that it makes all Evade rolls Easy (+20%) and +10% to Athletics checks to climb rigging, swing from chandeliers, sails and so on at a cost of 1 MP per use. I like....shall use that. Been reading PoL and plan to do a short campaign soon set in a spooky "On Stranger Tides" i...

Re: Forget 4shared

Ironic because OGL-based content that we create and share there is probably about .01% of what they have on site and also probably the only legitimate content they host for. 99.99% of what 4shared does have up is entirely illegal from ownership/copyright standards. If they want to look at wha...

Re: Monsters of Legend Update

They certainly will do, as we update our files with the printers immediatly - I'll have to look in as to whether we have actually done a reprint yet (the first run was quite extensive). Cool! It's good to hear. I'll keep my 1st edition copy for quick reference at the game table, and snag a 2nd prin...

Re: Pirates of Legend

Is there going to be errata? I just ordered this book through frpgames.com....seems like the swashbuckler heroic ability would be kind of relevant. UPDATE....or maybe not. Just checked an old copy of Pirates from MRQ1 and it turns out that this is a persistent issue....a listing for swashbuckler but...

Does anyone know if Skarr: City of Orcs will get a print release? It's not listed on the "upcoming releases" page but the actual listing for the book seems to indicate its pending a print release.

Legend stuff up for viewing

Hey all, I've been putting a lot of stuff up for Legend lately on my blog (and some stuff for BRP as well). If you're interested, take a look: http://www.realmsofchirak.blogspot.com I'd list individual articles, but its probably easier to just browse through and find the Legend material. Some recent...

Re: Updated Legend Rulebook PDF - Now with more Bookmarks

And no need for cover art ... black is nice. This is not a children's book. I'd love a deluxe edition as well, but admit the ending sentence baffles me. I did not know cover art was limited to the domain of children's books. There are a metric ton of publishers out there right now who may be surpri...

Re: Legend still seems to be doing well....

Matt, will the 2nd printing Monsters of Legend add in the missing traits?

I've got 2nd printing copies on order (by default, my FLGS missed the first run apparently) and would love to hear that that issue was fixed.

Re: Creatures of Legend

A lot of the Gloranthan monsters are analogs to existing mythological monsters or creatures that have appeared in similar form in fiction, so I'm really hoping that a more distinct MoL II comes out soon that introduces Legend-specific iterations of these creatures. Broo, for example, have an analog ...
