Re: VAS 2
but you could have got with a miniatures manufacturer, This is where we are going, but it goes two ways. We could get a minis manufacturer signed up for VaS tomorrow (we have had offers), but if it is a chap casting in his garage then we are going to have issues with quality and production. What we...

Re: VAS 2 Update
Hey so how are things going on this project? Very well - we will be making an announcement soon. Is there any estimate as to when the book will be out - like Q1 2015 or something? Between you, me and the four walls of this forum, you will likely be playing VaS 2.0 next August. Well, its august now....

Well, since the last wave helped to flesh out some of the atlantic forces I vote for the Norwegian campaign. So my wishlist would be: HMS Warspite HMS Renown HMS Ark Royal HMS Glorious Blackburn Skua's G- and H class destroyers A- class destroyers Scharnhorst Gneisenau Köningsberg class light cruise...

Re: How about crowdfunding?
Sneak peeks, previews and more info about the changes from version 1 to 2 would be very welcome! (as would be the Denmark Strait set  ) Examples I can think of: - Preview of how you build a fleet (fleet organisation chart??, Ship upgrades??) - Preview of a ship card or stats - Explanation about...

Re: VAS 2 Update
Question Ray; On one hand it really excites me to see the amount of options and ships you guys seem to be putting into the game. But on the other hand it worries me a bit. I'm personally hoping for VaS to hit the sweet spot for an elegant and fast-playing game that I can really get people into quick...

Re: Tirpitz
Fortunately for Tirpitz , Mongoose has not produced mini-subs or Lancaster bombers for VaS. (Now we need Matt to correct that to "not yet". :D) Not yet :) They are on their way :) Well, first things first ;) There is still a Prinz Eugen to be released... I have noticed that mongoose has a lot of cy...

Re: It's been a while...
In 1940, before completion, Bismarck was missing a couple of rangefinders and half her 10.5cm AA guns. This is how the Mongoose model shows her, which is bad news if you're trying to defend yourself against pesky Swordfish. :D Tirpitz had a different deck structure around the catapult and funnel, a...

Re: It's been a while...
The problem is getting pictures and such for the ships to get what you want for design. Its easy to say this gun gets added or a turret gets moved but finding art work of this is another matter. Which makes it hard to do what you want and I understand your points . Also very few if any company make...
