Re: 4+ Years on, how is the underlying math of MGT2E holding up? (especially in the Starship and Vehicle construction ru
I hear ya, but I'll also say if yer not going to care about the math being solid, why even bother with a vehicle/starship design system. I mean what's the point of it if the math doesn't work? If you know what math it needs, just fix it yourself. Same stellar feedback as usual Driscoll. I see now w...

If you are a hard ass for system mechanics, Mongoose Traveller might not be your cup of tea. Mongoose is pretty upfront about this. That's a little harsh. The math adds up, I just don't always see the logic behind some of the decisions. Yer kinder than me :) If they did publish errata and update th...

Couldn't comment on vehicles, but spacecraft design rules have too much slack in them, and commentary over the years tends to indicate this was meant as a feature. Yeah, I don't deal well with that (he says rocking back and forth in his chair - but just slightly!). I guess it depends more on whethe...

High guard, yes. Vehicle handbook has issues. And you can use highguard to develop a small vehicle that is far more powerful than its equivalent in VH. But highguard itself is pretty solid. Do you know if the Vehicle Handbook's pdf on DrivethruRPG ever got updated with the errata, or any of the oth...

4+ Years on, how is the underlying math of MGT2E holding up? (especially in the Starship and Vehicle construction rules)
Mongoose Traveller 2nd Edition has been out for 4+ years now (2016 release?). and I'm curious to know from those of you who own the rules the following. How is the math in the Vehicle and Starship construction rules? Is it tight and works, or is it full of errors and requires countless pages of erra...

Re: Traveller 2nd Edition Errata
Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of thank you's. I really appreciate all the work you put into creating and compiling this errata document.
I am assuming most, none, all of this content has been added to the core rules book PDF's available from drivethrurpg.com ?

MgT1 - How much errata is there for it, have the PDF's been updated?
I've recently been considering purchasing many of the Mongoose Traveller ver1 books as they seem to be a refined version of the classic rule set. But i've also read many reviews of the books in the series and lots of folks complain about the poor editing (which sadly Mongoose is known for) and lots ...

Re: Including a list of inspirational sources.
I recently wrote down and collected my own list of Traveller'ish novels and tropes, so I'll post it here to share. TRAVELLER “Appendix N” (Books that inspired or fit closely with the feel of classic Traveller) E.C. Tubb - The Dumarest of Terra novels (The Winds of Gath) H. Beam Piper - Space Viking,...

Ordering question re "Atlantean Ed" via amazon.ca
I am looking to Order the Atlantean ed of the Conan Core rulebook via www.amazon.ca (canadian version of Amazon) is there any way to tell what the version is that I am ordering online? Are the ISBN number sequences different? Did Mongoose recall the original edition and replaced the Amazon stock wit...
