This doesn't appear to have made it into the final version of Mercenary 2nd Edition but from the second iteration of the playtest : The only weapons capable of damaging the exterior of a spacecraft are Destructive weapons, detailed on page XX. The Army and Navy model gauss pistols have retained AP ratings despite the majority of personal gauss weapons losing their AP ratings. I have many examples, but my favourite I have brought up in another thread: why is it that War Swords, Falchions, Sabres, Long Swords (the "Core Book" swords) have Hardness 6 but Bastard Swords, Broadswords and others (the "A&E" swords) have Hardness 4? The answer I suspect is that the weapon table...

I think you've identified the best candidates for a second edition already. I would also add Robot to that list, which could do with more example robots created using the design system as examples of the system in use and a rework to the design system itself to address the questions that keep appear...
