Re: State of Mongoose 2019, 2020 and in to 2021: Legend

I think I am the only one who lives anywhere close to Swindon, UK (I work there currently and live just 40mins away). In case any of you do live there and are lurking, note that Mongoose are recruiting an editor. Right up my alley, if but I don't think it would work for me at this time financially.

Re: Mongoose News - Work Full-Time at Mongoose

I would love to go for this, but I highly doubt it would pay enough for me and the family to survive on compared to the current job. I can do minor level work but not full-time. If you wish to discuss my helping out the team any time, Matthew, you know where I am!

We (at Gallant Knight Games) are!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ga ... ref=8a5ygi

It's a hacked up, rules light version of Legend condensed to about 20 pages of rules (give or take.)
You beat me to it!! I just came here to post your link! :D

Re: Happy Christmas and Best wishes for 2021

Happy new year! Achievement unlocked: You completed 2020 on Survival Mode. Next Achievement: Publish at least one new Legend Product in 2021. Why not say one every two months! Then you'll have six items! Or if that's pushing it, one a quarter? I recently set up www.whiteharegames.uk and I have been...

Happy Christmas and Best wishes for 2021

It's been an interesting year around the world.

I hope all you lovely Legends have had a good year, with no hardships or COVID related problems.

Best wishes to all for a better 2021!

Re: Song of the Beast Gods & Sheoloth

Thanks to my Cthanta Claus (RPGGeek's rpg secret santa exchange) I now have a completely finished dead tree collection of Legend (except Deus Valt which I'm currently not fussed about). I just got: The Spider God's Bride (Legend) Arcania of Legend: Elementalism Cities of Legend: Skarr: City of Orcs ...

No mention of Legend at all in the most recent SotM (2020/2021).

Re: State of the Mongoose 2020

I am very glad to hear you and your staff are keeping safe and well! Working in Swindon myself I know how the "waves of potential lockdown" have been ebbing and flowing over that town between the first and second lock-down. It's been interesting! I'm dismayed that this year Legend doesn't even get a...

Let me look into this - it may be a while as we are currently rammed with projects.

If you need me to drop by the office some time with the book I'll be happy to do so :)

(I am still working as it's hard to do estate agency from home... and they are not furloghing us this time)

Re: Song of the Beast Gods & Sheoloth

You already have Song of the Beast Gods - it is included in Citadel Beyond the North Wind! I have the PDF of all three books. I have the print copy of Citadel. This exactly mirrors the pdf. 54 pages of content plus the covers. There is no Song of the Beast Gods in there, which would have added a fu...

Song of the Beast Gods & Sheoloth

I recently picked up a hard-copy of the World of Xoth book, Citadel Beyond the North Wind. I notice that The Spider God's Bride is in print (and will want that at some point) but that book 2, Song of the Beast Gods is not in print format. What's that about? Is that going to be printed some time? I a...

Re: d100 sale on DTRPG

Hey Matt. It's just been pointed out to me that you do not have Legend/Deus Vault materials listed on DriveThru as a d100/d100 lite system, just as "Legend". Which is a massive short-falling and would be why it didn't get picked up for this massive exposure-bringing sale. It's too late now (they can...

Drivethru handles all of our sales - not sure whether Legend will be part of this or not.
Hi Matthew.

You control the participation in such events using the following tool:

I bought a hard copy at last (I've had a home printed copy till now).

Such a nice book, just no idea how to approach a flip-side game of "bad--guys".

Re: Spells of Legend

Good stuff, though I do see anti-ageing magic as more of a sorcery thing myself. I thought about this myself. The problem with making it a Sorcery spell is that the caster can use Manipulation to affect multiple targets or further extend the duration. Perhaps we need a Sorcery spell allowing the ca...
