Hmmm well the only Phone I have is a company cell phone, and trying to explain an international call might be a little awkward.

Re: Vehicle Handbook - Now Shipping!

Well looks like it will be a while before I can have it. The billing system and my credit card protection do not like each other, and I will not use paypal as I have had issues on the security side and principle with them. :( This is a major bummer as I order regularly from other sites with li...

Re: PGMP-8

Then that would be a pulse laser. Not a ship grade one, but in technical terms. ?? Its not a steady beam, just a pulse of energy. :) The photo of the plasma ball it fired gave me the impression it was a plasma gun. It's firing through a lens, a solid lens. That means that what it's firing is energy ...

Re: Book 9: Robot Question

Might have to give it a try, though my German is really rusty. Had three years in high school, but that was quite a while ago. I guess I could limp through and at least get the tables translated with the help of several online translators.

Re: Book 9: Robot Question

So, I was wondering about Arms in Robot. Does the listed Arm table refer to one or two arms? Seems like it should be two, as a Size 5 Arm takes up 10 slots, while a single Size 5 Erect Leg takes up 6. If the Arm counted for both, that would make sense, making the arm about right for its size. What ...

Missing or incorrect deckplans

Just thought that I would start this thread could not find much in the way of this unless my search was a poor one. Merchants and Cruisers: The Deck plans for the Queen Elizabeth are rather incomplete. Way too small, missing allot of state rooms and allot if not all of the extras are not on the publ...

Re: Robots - I must be doing something wrong ...

FWIW, I think limbs are intended to take up space and power, hence the slot usage. I use units to get more space honestly. I'm considering a house rule for limbs where they would provide half the slots they take up for limb-mounted equipment only . Actually this works to recreate the designs in the...

Re: robot slots

Ok after trying to replicate all of the robots in the book. It seems that the slots for limbs appears to be much like the units, they add slots, but in an odd way. The slots listed on the chart are per pair of limbs, tracks, antigrav units added. Well I guess thats what I am going to use then. One t...

Re: Secrets of the Ancients hardback mising something?

You know, its kinda odd that the more we get into the digitized age of books, the more errors we have in hard copies. :? Or is it just me? :? At least that seams to be what I've noticed. (mega traveller is an exception), or perhaps no one still has the skills or training of a good editor anymore?? :?

Re: Spacecraft Ops

Let me see if I can ctribute something to this. I just use the system as is. The Caracters that have space experience/familiarity can try unskilled tasks abord space/starcraft. People who have no clue or familiarity realy can not do much other then mess things up or get themselves or others killed o...

robot slots

As in the Old CT and Megatraveller robot rules, IIRC the limbs do add some slots/space to the robot. Yes there is some usage of the torso/body to attach the limb but the limb itself adds more space to mount more or other item. In all there is a net gain of space. :)
