There's a text thumbnail sketch of various ships in each of the PD products. Only a paragraph or so, but enough to give an overview of the ship and function. There are published resources on the ADB site which lists all the Federation ship names. You wouldn't find deckplans or the ship displays used...

I thought the Canadian series had already been cancelled? Lasted until the end of season one, and then the plug got pulled on it.

If you want to discuss the latest design innovations in Honda cars, then the best place to talk about them would obviously be somewhere like your local Ford dealership.

If there is an adventure in the Traveller PD book, I expect to see a deckplan, too. That's just the way it is. I don't remember there being deck plans in the original LBBs. They came later, with the publication of suppelments and adventures.

I really don't understand why ADB have developed this obsession with deck plans to the extent that it delays a publication. Why can't they put out Traveller PD, and THEN publish a supplement with deck plans for those who really want them? That way the whole deck plan issue doesn't keep dragging out ...

Our opening book of the series has the Prime Trader in it (a ship that could easily be crewed by a bunch of retired people off to seek their fortunes) -- and most folks seem to want The Ship from Their Favorite Empire. That's part of the problem. Some of these empires don't even have the basic ship...

I'm not too sure where ADB picked up the idea that deck plans were required. Nobody in their right mind is going to want to know every location on a Connie or a D7 - or any other ship - when it comes to roleplaying. And we were never supplied with detailed deckplans when watching the source TV shows...

Yeah, 15mm. There are hundreds of tie-in offerings in 15mm, it is THE sci-fi scale, and has had a massive resurgence over the last few years.

Seems a waste of time as a pdf map pack. I'm not going to print it myself from a pdf, so simply wouldn't buy the product at all in that format.

Wrote to Wildfire last month asking them about availability of a print of POD copy. As yet they haven't bothered to answer. I guess it's time to give up on Wildfire for good.

So where did you get the hard copy version? Wildfire don't appear to be spreading the news much regarding its availability...

That's how the ADB ships are cast, and they sometimes distort. Separate pieces usually produce better/cleaner castings.
