*Arise again* Hello Faelan Niall, I think your idea is really great. I would like to know if you worked a bit more on it? Seems like a good fit for my upcoming campaign. I was thinking along the same lines, but fear tying too many options to a single item might be too omnipotent. Generally my player...

Oh , I like that Skill-check Idea! Good call, and really usable for detective scenarios too. Nicked for the future! Empires is on my shopping list for the next month already. I do not have access to AD+D Wilderness guide however and it seems it is not available as a PDF. Is there anything a bit more...

Exploration Rules?

Hello all, I am looking for MRQII compatible exploration rules/suggestions. What I want to archive is the feeling of discovering an unknown world where the players are stranded with no way home. It might be a Hexcrawl but I am not sure on that yet. Survival, community building and exploration should...

Like I posted earlier I find it tough to get them engaged in any meaningfull way with the background. So its great to see a game where it works and the PCs...

Great Story so far, I like the way this is so.. "mundane" in a way. Are you planning to reintroducing some more mystical features ot keep it more on the Historical side of things?

Empires: Usefull for Smaller Scale? Alternatives?

Hello all, I am working on my campaign atm and thinking about setting up several regions/Factions/Homesteads that will be not neccessarily in conflict with each other but interaction friendly and in confrontation. Now I would like to add some management metagame to this so I dont simply decide but l...

I am so jealous, my GM talents pale to your storytelling. I can not even imagine running a Ting with lawsuits and all the other trappings with my group. Kudos, great read and very motivational too!

I have no idea if this will help, but here we go... Have you installed a pdf printer (like cutePDF) to your computer? It works as a virtual printer and when you have the bought pdf opened in pdf reader, try to print it out to pdf printer instead of an actual printer. If it takes a lot of time to pr...

Viking supplement Printing woes

Hello all, Due to the GM Day I took the plunge to check out the good word on RuneQuest II and the Viking supplement and bought it on Drivethroughrpg as a PDF. I wnt ahead to print them and the MRQII Rulebook was no problem at all and worked great and without issue. The Viking supplement is not print...
