I'm pretty sure the pic of the Vargr on the floater is also in one of the Mega Traveller books as well since its mention provokes a vague memory and I've never read an issue of Challenge magazine

Cybernetics

So my copy of Cybernetics arrived today. I've skimmed it, doesn't add anything new to the genre, pretty standard stuff, however I'm a big fan of cyberpunk and have to say that while it doesn't break any new ground it does add an element to Traveller that I've always thought was missing, on the whole...

Yes, the maps in the book are shoddy, the updated Mongoose PDF maps are a lot better.

I've got to say the Windermann Incident is very much my type of scenario.

I also liked Type S and Crowded Hours as good examples of scenarios without combat, but still have a lot of action.

I've had a few game related dreams over the years, in the Traveller ones I'm usually a scout pilot.

I also dream that I'm running games for friends I played with back in the day.

I've used some for scenario ideas.

My heart says hand written because thats what I grew up doing, my head says computer generated because its so much easier to modify. Funny thing is I still have bad habits from learning to type on an electric typewriter, I often delete rather than edit a spelling mistake as thats what I needed to do...

Thanks for the links.

Printed a Mongoose one off and then scanned it so I could alter it in open office draw. But now I realise could've just imported the Spica one.

Mind you I didn't make it to explicit what I wanted to do with it, so thanks to DFW, you got me by :D .

Blank Subsector Map

Does anyone know a site that has a blank subsector map in either JPEG, BMP or PNG format or something similar, I'm working on my own setting and could really use it.

I have to say I agree with Rikki Tikki Traveller, a +1 on a 2d6 standard difficulty roll is a big boost, add in a stat modifier and the chances of success are even greater.
