Re: VAS 2

I really do hope VAS2 does come out one day.

Matt would it be possible to sell the rules as a pdf if the miniature deal doesn't happen?

Stick with the VaS range for the next few years (decades?), and we'll get you sorted on any era you like, but it will take time...

Re: New Releases for Victory at Sea

I'd jump on 1:1800 WWI ships like a duck on a junebug. Just off the top of my head, sets could include Emden vs Sydney , Battle of Coronel, Battle of the Falklands, Yavuz and Midilli versus the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and Battle of Dogger Bank. Then Jutland and the Med and Adriatic. I can feel the...

Re: New Releases for Victory at Sea

@Greg Most of that announcement seems to have come from the State of Mongoose 2014: http://blog.mongoosepublishing.co.uk/?p=779 I really like the part a bit further down talking about different Era's for VAS2. I've taken quite a liking to WWI Naval History lately. Matt, any thoughts on doing WWI min...

Re: VAS 2 Update

Thanks for the honest answer Matt. I guess I am old enough now that another year doesn't bother me so much. Still if there are any previews you want to share I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one to appreciate them. :D

Re: VAS 2 Update

Hey so how are things going on this project? I was watching "WWII in HD Colour" and got me wanting to do some WWII Naval battles again. I was looking through my VAS1 stuff again. Is there any estimate as to when the book will be out - like Q1 2015 or something? Also, just curious, I was reminded how...

Re: How about crowdfunding?

Hey Matt how about some previews?! :)

So how big do you think this book is going to be? Its sounding awesome.

I would totally back a kickstarter for this book - but then again I'm planning on buying it as soon as its available anyways.

Re: VAS 2 Update

Just so you guys know this is one reason the books are not out yet we are still working on the ship list and stats and such. The rules are complete. I myself am starting on the OOB for the USA and the last major navy to complete the rest are done. There is a little more reseach on my part for comon...

Re: VAS 2 Update

Ray,

For Kreigsmarine it would also be nice to have some stats for some Auxiliary Cruisers. I'd personally be happy with just one set of stats, but I guess there was a fair bit of variation between them.

Re: Dragonmeet - First Preview of Victory at Sea 2.0

I'd happily buy PDFs with ship reference cards for playing, much like what has been done for ACTA-SF. Hey Matt, any chance we can see the stats for Graf Spee? Also, I noticed that there are no "point values" listed on the British ships. I assume it wasn't necessary as this is a historical scenario, ...

Re: Hex Bases?

Check out Corsec Engineering. http://corseceng.com/omni-stand/ I love the omni stand as I can adjust the height of the mini's (if you buy different size posts) and use various shapes and sizes of bases. I have hex bases to play SFB and circles to play ACTA. There are two different kinds of mounts y...
