Re: Christianity as a cult

I agree with the Deus Vult assessment. That book is what I'd go to for Divine magic for Christianity.

Re: Priceless

That's an awesome story demonstrating just how well Legend handles gritty low fantasy. Indeed, I wonder whether the game system almost mandates this style of play.... I believe it does. If you try to adapt a D&D dungeon crawl to this system, you will have half your party dead in one combat encounte...

You may be right, although dealing with 7 people at once still seems like quite a task.

Re: Averrunci

One of the potential players of the game has suggested that and I'll think I will try RPOL. Thanks for the info! With Simulacrum, that would bring the potential number of players to 3. I believe I can handle up to six but not beyond that. If any more of you guys have interest. Come check it out. Ill...

Averrunci

Hi there everyone. I want to see if there is any interest out there in a starting a Legend rules game online on RPOL, which I would run once I have a suitable number of players (currently 1). The game would take place in Rome 51 AD and the characters are the Averrunci, the secret organization and pr...

Samurai? Excellent, a Japanese supplement. I'd drop money on that, even if I never get a chance to play it.

Skype Game

I was wondering if anyone on the forum would be interested in a campaign over Skype. After having ran one already, I am interested in running a new one as the previous one was a lot of fun and players could join in from all over the country or even the world just as if they were at the table. In add...

Re: Running RQ: Game of Thrones

Perhaps it should be a dump stat. By doing this, it makes it so that overall "important" scores are higher, which may be vital in a lethal worls without magic buffs.

Re: So now that the Conan movie has flopped...

So, in about 50 years then? I think I can stand that provided I can survive the hordes of Mexican drug cartels that will conquer most of the south, the rise of fascist dictatorships in Washington controlled by big corporations and special interests and the general collapse of our economy by socialis...

Re: Low magic game balance

Scaling back magic is a must for a lower magic game. Either eliminate Common magic entirely or make Common Magic the only form of magic. The game is designed for high-magic, Glorantha style gaming in mind, despite the totally awesome game mechanics. I myself thought that the magic system needed a co...

Lone Wolf / Dice Function

OK. First off, is Lone Wolf going to be converted for Legends?

Second, Do the new boards have a Dice function and if they don't, can you rig it to have one?
