Re: The passage of time in low berths
I run it that essentially no time passes for those inlow berths. They go to sleep, they wake up feeling a bit sad a sorry for themselves. You could assign a time difference if you wanted, like 1 minute subjective time for every hour, or 24 hours, or week... but I don’t think it makes any real differ...

Answerin (Minor Human Race)
I’m trying to createthe Answerin for Mongoose 2e. This is how far I’ve got. Feedback always welcome. Anwerin come from a low gravity planet, making them slightly weaker than other humans. They have a -1 penalty to Str and End. Answerin are slightly more agile than other humans. They gain a +1 to the...

Re: Declaration of Sophont Rights.
I think most of this is outside the Imperium's jurisdiction. The Imperium regulates safe interstellar trade, no slavery, no weapons of mass destruction, and that's about it. Oppressing the population or not is up to the member governments. Though The Warrent of Restoration hints at at least somethi...

Declaration of Sophont Rights.
So I was having a think on what a Declaration of Sophont Rights would look like in the Imperium, and using the UN Declaration of Human Rights I've come up with this. Would love some discussion. The Declaration consists of a preamble and thirty articles: The preamble sets out the historical and socia...

Re: Jumpspace - What Does It Look Like IYTU?
Officially, you can't look at jumpspace without risking your sanity. In MTU all portholes seal with a jumpshield to prevent anyone accidently looking out.
I believe it's supposed to look like a roiling grey fluid, referred to in some games I have played in as "grey brain".

Nobles and Cloning
Quick question about nobles ans cloning in the OTU that I need a quick answer to.
Is the any canon comment on the opinion of nobles continuing their line with a clone of themselves (true son or true daughter)?

Thanks Reynard
It will be a background detail on Mongo, with a lot of talk in the bars about the Subsector Final going on.
I'm going to be using a league similar to that of soccer, with a Sector-wide championship occurring every four years and Subsector championships every one year.

Let's Talk Grav-Ball
Next session I'm introducing grav-ball as a background element in my game. Problem, I don't know much about the game except there are 6 players on a side, a 5kg metal ball, zero-g field, and Heartless Heuwey to sort out issues. Can anyone else provide more information? What are the rules? What posit...

Re: Planetary and Starport sensors
I hate to say it depends, but it depends.
Depends on the TL of the planet, the class of the starport, and the size of the population, primarily.

Generally they come up with their own ideas. I rarely need to assist them except in reminding them what had gone on in previous adventures.
