You all kill me! Seriously.
These are second rate (and that's being kind) rules at best. Instead of worrying about miniatures I'd write a decent set of rules first. Please Mongoose, stick to RPGs and SciFi, at least that's believable.

Re: ADB, Inc. Announces New Prices for Starline 2500 Miniatu
Go to their online store, some of these mini's are really well priced. Light Cruisers $12, Heavy Cruisers $13-14... Frigates and destroyers $6-8.

Re: [ACTA:SF] Discussion: taming the Klingons
Bob, I think it was mainly around here, several months ago. I don't think it was on the SFU BBS, though feel free to bring it up there if you want. Bill, ther e is a topic for weapons, that is not open yet. But I like the reduction in damage on long range fire with disruptors, but, I have a problem...

Re: [ACTA:SF] Discussion: taming the Klingons
There were proposals to make Disruptors a single hit weapon, but give them Killzone 12, allowing them to score 2 points of damage out to 12" and 1 from 12" to 24" for a standard disruptor. I believe that Tony Thomas/ADB is looking at this issue, but I'm not in the loop on the playtesting so I can't...

Re: [ACTA:SF] Discussion: taming the Klingons
As I have stated here and on the other board, you can't fix the Klingons by just changing agile or the front shield rule. Damage numbers have to be fixed. In SFB/Fedcom, hull as it appears on ships is not always proportional to the overall damage a ship can sustain. Hull should not have been the cri...

This is non-official but over on the other forum it was stated that they will not produced for a while, if ever again. I'd search the web, that's your best bet. And do it soon.

Re: Roll 4+ to shoot
This came up at Diecon this year, first time ever in a game for me. Had a Federation ship with Weapons Critial Level 3 to 4+ to fire and Crew Critical Level 5 $+ to fire weapons. The player very wisely had played All Hands on Deck and survived the turn and significantly healed his ship by end of the...

Re: Roll 4+ to shoot
Scoutdad can confirm, but I'm pretty sure it's just harder to repair. It's like when your speed is reduced by both Impulse and Dilithium criticals, it's the lowest speed for all criticals received.

Re: Diecon 13 St. Louis (Collinsville, IL)
Another Diecon has gone. Ran a great game of ACTA-SF, well attended by 8 players. Some were returns from last year and some new players. Game was between a heavy Klingon and Federation task forces, each had a DN, and 2 BCH, the federation player had 3 x CA and 1 NCA...the Klingons had 4 D7s. 7 ships...

(ACTA-SF) Comparitive Ship Damage Scores
In another thread we were discussing ship damage scores. I compared several Federation and Klingon Ships. This would have basically allowed the dumping of the Klingon Front Shield Rule. Federation POL Can absorb as much as 42 Damage FFG Can absorb as much as 49 Damage FFB Can absorb as much as 59 Da...

Re: Idea for enhancing shield usage/strategy in the game
John, I agree with the Klingon front shield, thought it would have been better to add special seperate front shield that has to take damage when fire at from the front, before damaging the primary shield. Easist way to show that on the ship card would be Shields: 18/9. I would like to see the damage...

Re: Is Anyone Using Magnets to Mount Your Ships?
Got all my Diecon prep done last night including assembling my stands. I decided not to glue the posts to bases, for now anyway. This will allow a twist for final centerline adjustment. After the con I'll probably get the set and glue them.

Re: Is Anyone Using Magnets to Mount Your Ships?
Not sure if you mean the single tooth on the bottom or the multi teeth on the top. When I glued the the bottom to the upright, I attempted to have the single tooth point straight forward. This worked in most cases. But, of course I want any ship to be able to mate with any stand. So tried to do them...

Bill,
I don't have an issue with seconds, they really don't look that far off. I'm assessing what I need, I'll PM you when I'm ready to order.
Thanks

Re: Is Anyone Using Magnets to Mount Your Ships?
Having difficulty getting these to bore sight on the stand with the fireing arc stickers was thinking about not gluing the stems. Has anyone else hd this issue and how did you solve the problem?
