A question for Mongoose/Joe/whoever can speculate

One of main reasons people supported the megadeal and the reprinting of the books was to get "the final 5" books to complete the original series. Given tis been 7 years, why have none of those books seen light, and more importantly, why were they not made a priority? I appreciate someone "could" Kic...

Re: So ... Book 18?

The problems are: It does not make economic sense for Joe D to release any books for MegaDeal customers only, if they going to print more books, might as well sell as many as they can Unless theres something in the contract Joe isnt under any obligation to do anything. (I seem to recall last decade ...
One word of warning on this book - as with all other Collector Editions from now on, there will only be one print run of this book. If you miss it, it will be gone until the paperback edition turns up. ...
That is good. Since I live in NZ, it makes a lot more sense f...

Credit where credit is due

I'm in New Zealand.

7 days ago I placed an order, and it arrived today, complete and correct.

This is a very good turn around time regardless if its coming from the US or the UK.

Thanks Mongoose!

Re: Web Site Alert!

The british version of the site is still broken, and useless for non-brits. Is it a design decision that only brits can use the brit version of the site? If so, please make it exceptionally obvious on the site, otherwise its a waste of time. The american version has been work for a few days now, wha...

International ordering works for the us version of the site, but not the uk version.

Problems I mentioned [other than a niggle about pre-ordering] appear to be fixed for the us version of the site, but not the uk version.

I'm sure it'll be an easy fix tho.

Great to see the fixes done promptly.

Thank you. As stated in my email to you, the american site appears to be working well now and has the ship to anywhere function working. The UK site isnt quite there yet but I'm sure its only changing a few settings to make it work. Due to the exchange rate, I'll wait until the brit one is working b...

Excellent., Squeaky wheel gets the oil. As mentioned in the general thread but not this one. I live in New Zealand. Previously I could order books and have them shipped [assumedly from the UK since it was in pounds] Now however as a "guest" trying to go through the checkout process my choices are ei...

O and I just tried to go to the checkout to purchase the books I could find, and surprise surprise, they wont ship outside the UK or the USA which means I've wasted atleast 45 minutes AND cant place my order.

Previously shipping to my country was straightforward.

What a fiasco.

Problems with the new mongoose store

I'll cross post this to the lonewolf section as well. I really dont like the new store layout. Old store could easily find titles, click, add, buy, get, happy. The RPGs were in the same place as the solo gamebooks. NOW I go to the RPGs drop down menu on the main menu banner and it takes me to the OO...

Sounds promising.

As said above, theres a lot of good boardgames that Lonewolf could easily be styled upon and then improved to make a stellar product.

Just remember not to promise it too soon and then not deliver, and make sure its thoroughly playtested since theres room for oodles of expansions.

As for boardgames, I am a bit of geek [have a membership at boardgamegeek.com] and I'm hoping the Lonewolf boardgame does really well, and has a lot of replayability. I've got the Runebound 2nd edition base game and 1 of the expansions and 1 of the expansion decks. With a little reworking, Lonewolf ...

Except, the initial megadeal was advertised as "1 book per month" or very close to it. If that had been the case, everyone would have the original 29 books in funky new hardcover, with practically 0 errors by now. With that said, we have seen 1 per SEASON with errors, reprints and other shenanigans....

O and an additional thought, assuming you have the first 20 books [well, project aon cough cough if you dont] theres nothing stopping you giving them various different adventures from the books but in a different order Send them off to the cener druids to get supplies or a cure, in preparation for l...

Well, 3 thoughts spring to mind: Firstly you could have it as a renegade/outpost of the main Kai Monastry somewhere else in the world. That gets around almost all of the problems, and the party could travel to the main monastry after the attack. Second option which I prefer: Just have them come in a...
