was also thinking burning wheels whould make very good weapon in a seige or too break up knots of attacking warriors  I like this idea. It makes a nice opening move rather than the charge-in-and-fight-with-the-same-weapon-every-round strategy that happens so often. What do you think. 1D6 c...

Fur Cloak of the Cusith:

Made from the hide of a Cusith from the boarderlands (p.89 Tir Nan Og sourcebook.)
This acts as a normal fur cloak but also gives +2 circumstance bonus to hide checks, +4 if outdoords, +8 in foggy marshland environment

Yeah, I personally think that the Moon Sow campaign focused too much on the Horned God. You can tell that the writers of the comic Slaine are Wiccans too. (Maybe if they had some Celtic Scholars involved, there would be more variation in the religion portrayed) I would have liked to see more of a Pa...

Re: slaine new god Taranis

No, this information is wrong. Lug was a sun god, not a lightning god. Taranis was Celtic, but the word Taranis was a Romanization. The Irish had Saint Torann. (The Germanics had Thor) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taranis the celts belived that the weather was a manifestion of the supernatural power...

What a pity!
And what an anticlimax to what could have been a great series.

I think all of the tribes should have been one book, and I loved the idea of an enemies book too.

Which clan book is this? The Finians? This is the only tribe book that I do not have and I would love to get a copy of it.

Re: defence rating in Slaine

The problem with defense ratings is that it is too difficult for low level characters to hit high level characters. IMO there should always be a chance for a group of little guys to take out a big guy, even if many of them die in the process. Then there are the feats: Door of Battle, improved Door o...

I'd be interesting in knowing if Mongoose has any plans for publishing new Slaine material other than core rule books. For example, some things not covered in any of the books I have seen: Atlantis - where is it? What is left of it? The lands east of Midgard. The lands south of the Drunes. The Gaels...

Hmmm...this thread has gotten a little of track but it is good to read about how much fun you guys are having. I am currently playing the Slaine RPG D20 rules in the Moon Sow campaign. Things I like: 1. Less armor - no tanks running around that are impossible to hit. 2. No alignment 3. Enech - adds ...

I agree with Dathi. I have purchased everything that I can in Slaine D20 but still cannot find some stuff. (Did they ever publish the Finian Tribe book? I have all of them except this one. Not to mention "Dinas Emrys - The Eternal Fortress", which was mentioned in the core books but never published....

Those places come from the Horned Lord and Moon Sow Campaign book 1 The Invulnerable King. Back issues

I am looking for issues:
3, 15, 16, 17, 21, 22, and 23.

In particular, I'd like the articles about Slaine RPG in them.
(Both the D20 and RuneQuest stuff).

In the Slaine books several supplements were mentioned that were never published, and I'd like this extra information to fill in the blanks.
