At the current time, we are planning to have bases on the ships.
Cool, I've always been a fan of that, let's you paint nice wakes and waves alongside the boats.

Do you have a list of the what-if boats you have rules for? Just curious to see how that shakes out.

Re: VAS 2

Plans as they currently sit: * 1/1800 scale - a nice blend between cost, detail and 'heft' * Resin * We have been planning for both - all ships will be available individually, some will be bundled into battle or fleet packs. * We have been looking at something like £10 for a large Battleship. * We ...

Re: VAS 2

Hey Matt, long time no see! I was wondering if you had some information concerning the scope of the miniatures and range of ships. What scale are the minis planned to be? What is the primary material? Will they be sold individually, or in packs? Do you have a general price point for say, a BB, a CA,...

Re: Babylon 5 ACTA

Actually, since I have missed out on a lot of the discussion, anyone have an executive summary of who owns what licenses and why?

It's a shame, I really liked the ship design and the only places to find Bab5 minis these days are exorbitant ebay sales or lucky finds at remote LGS.

Babylon 5 ACTA

Third Edition.

With miniature support.

I would Lance Armstrong myself to have this happen.

Victory at Sea: Age of Sail

It seems like an interesting progression for the Victory at Sea series, and it could be done in multiple levels, a historical approach, or a Pirates of the Carribean style approach.

I just think that it would be an entertaining game using a great game engine.

Re: ACTA: Starfleet Questions

I was hoping for some newer gen looking ships, not the 60s round pod versions for the Federation. But I suppose the ships are just a part of it. Are there plans to bring in the newer styled ship designs or is that a licensing issue? (Stuff like the NCC-2000 and the Yamato?) http://images.wikia.com/s...

B5 Criticals

In the second edition of Babylon 5 ACTA, with the Fleet book and P&P, was there a rule that changed criticals on large ships? I seem to remember there was something that did, but can't find the reference.

Well, I know you guys are really happy with your new modeling process, if you did do ships, what scale would you be looking at?

1/2400, 1/6000, or something different?

As I said before ship sheets
Definitely this!

Battletech would be brutal if it wasn't for stuff like SSW that lets you print out force sheets for play.

I would be willing to pay for a well crafted program as well.

Thanks for the answer, I figured that you would be looking into it. I stumbled over the game a few months ago and am a big convert. The Age of Dreadnaughts rules added some things I'd like to see in V@S (officially, since we already include some in our games) As I mentioned, a second edition with fu...

I'd like to see an update to the Priority Level system, a general shakedown and balancing of all the ships in the game using the new system, and corrections to a few of the ship stats. Rules Clarifications in a few cases would be nice. V@S 2.0 or 1.5 or whatever you would have to call it. The rulese...

Looking at comparable carriers, I would put the Graf at a Raid choice, a game master made that decision recently and I agree with it.

Was this ever resolved?

I was talking about it, since the Delhi drops the Torps to make room for more AA, that the AA should be quite high (and clearly higher then the Danae)

Secondary 2 (or 1), AA 8 or something, making it similar to the Coventry?

Yep, i would have liked to use 28mm (And I LIKED the realistic proportions on the miniatures I saw). The problem with all the other minis is that they seem chunky/oversized. Maybe that was all well and good for older wargamers, but now a days, I like my figures to look real, not like Captain America...
