Re: What Have You Painted Today??

Very nice job on the Sharoos! Smooth fades between the colors, and just the right amount of tiger stripes. Love it!

I also like those Vorlons, Adrian. Were they done with the "toothbrush spatter" method?

Re: What Have You Painted Today??

Nice job! I really like the colors and the patterning. The bases bring it all together.

Re: What Have You Painted Today??

Nice fleet, Adrian! Good consistent colors. I like the extra bits of antennae/sensors poking out.

Re: Does anyone play on Vassal?

Albeit this was biggest flaw of B5 game. Criticals could have too dominating effect. Been thinking of porting the critical system from noble armada to babylon 5. Might be much needed help for the bigger ship. Maybe give devastating trait to some bigger guns. I've never played Vassal before, but doe...

Re: Does anyone play on Vassal?

Argh, why couldn't you have asked when I had time? I'm travelling for the next week, but I'd be happy to try a game on Vassal sometime. I haven't used it before.

I'm also on the East Coast.

Nice job on the Vree. Clean lines.

The bases are quite nice, too.

Re: What Have You Painted Today??

Arch Lector Petrovski: some very nice paint jobs there! I definitely like the look of the jigsaw fighter bases, but I'd be afraid they'd get a little distracting on the table. Those White Stars are pretty bright. Interesting color scheme choice. I think it works better on the gunships than the stand...

I like both of them. But I think the stripes would look better if you gave the whole model a thin wash of medium blue to blend it all together. The Citadel Asurmen Blue wash might work well for this, thinned somewhat. It would make the transitions between colors less harsh.

They look good though.

You left a couple of "Artemis" references in the Special Orders section where I think you meant Chronos.

These are very nice. Maybe I'll go back and collect them all into PDF form, if you don't mind? I'll post it somewhere when it's completed.

This got quite a chuckle out of me.

I'd be interested in participating, but I'm just a "colonial" (feels like I should be fighting the Cylons...).

I'd also be interested in the Google docs spreadsheet for running a campaign.

The V2 has swept-back wings and a much "cleaner" look, with more obvious engines.

These pictures don't help?

Try the posts here: http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=41504 I gave links to both Gale Force 9, and Litko, both of which sell a wide variety of base shapes in large volumes for a good price. Hello,

I'd be interested in trying a small game sometime. I haven't used VASSAL before, but it looks interesting.

PM me and we can try to set something up (I'm on the East Coast of the US, so time zones might be a problem).
