Re: VaS 2.0 Development Progress
Looking forward to it. I have a copy of AoD, all I need to find is a distributor in the US that actually carries ship mini's. And by distributor I mean accessible sales to the FLGS, not direct sales that bypass the FLGS  One of the reasons I was overjoyed to hear Mongoose would have it's own ...

Ray, I like your planes...you might want to try using some piano wire for the supports in the future. I have had very good results with 0.15 as it is somewhat flexible and not very noticable. http://i441.photobucket.com/albums/qq132/adfilter/Modeling/DSCN1240.jpg http://i441.photobucket.com/albums/q...

It's in it's WWII weapons fit, but it's the last US pre-WWI Battleship.

I made this post May 11 2010: Let me start off by stating up front I do like the rules that are provided with both VAS and AoD books. I currently own VaS, oob and AoD. I bought them when I was deployed and had some time to read while I was considering a new Naval Mini rule set. At that point my nava...

I like the WaS game, so moving over to VaS and others it just makes sense to use the same minis. Yes they are plastic, but that is a bonus to me not a negative. I have dropped too many GHQ or even PS models and they spent time glueing parts back on after a slur of colorful adjectives. With no more e...

You mean like this? Erm, no. I was looking at the nice speckly sea surface that the ships are sitting on and, assuming it is a DIY surface, thought the same technique would look great on ship bases... Just an idea. Don't get me wrong, they look great as they are! Ah, no the background is just what ...

Nice. Are the turrets stuck on after painting to get such neat edges with the deck? Thanks Correct...this is a GHQ model which requires some assembly. For this one in particular I did all the deck work before I put any of the superstructure on. I always mount the turrets last. Ever tempted to paint...

Hopefully you get it worked out. I have bought a couple off E-bay mostly from one vendor, but I did have an issue with one missing a couple items. I have since found this retailer that stocks them and offers them at close to the best deals on e-nay fi not as good. They are very reputable as well. If...

As promised here are the contents of my copy: http://i441.photobucket.com/albums/qq132/adfilter/DSCN1148.jpg Counters are not pictured as this is the one game I have punched. There is only one rulebook/scenario book. Again cruiser warefare is the only one like this as the rules vary just a little be...

Less than two days remain on the 1/6000 ships. They all have bids, but are still well below retail.
Also have many other Naval and general gaming related items including a rare copy of AP SOPAC.
You can see all of it here:

Well, no idea what to think, except it looks like comments about ebay being hit or miss look prophetic. Got the Cruiser Warfare game today, and I can handle the damage to the box, I didnt ask for insurance so that is a small thing. But no rule book. I presume that is where the scenarios are. Only m...
