Re: So, what's with the supplements?

I second the request for more information on the 2300 AD line (as I'm about to launch a campaign). Where are Bayern and the Aerospace Engineer's Handbook in the pipeline?

Throw more money at him! Pirates of Drinax is one of the finest roleplaying campaigns ever published.

Re: Reach Adventure 3: The Calixcuel Incident

Just purchased this, and think it's the best adventure you've published. Will you be putting out a dead tree version, like the other adventures?

Re: The Traveller Adventure

Well, I would add some more material to the Guided Tour and Nomad Politics chapters. Give the players the time to explore Bellerophon and encounter some of the local fauna. The various nomad factions could add more complications to the story - for example, perhaps the Muharebelar decide to assassina...

Re: The Traveller Adventure

Personally, I'd rather see expanded versions of other classic adventures: Nomads of the World-Oceans, the Sky Raiders trilogy, Twilight's Peak, and Chamax Plague/Horde.

Re: Core Rule Book Version 2 - very well done Mongoose!

Just got my two copies, and concur with the findings shared here that the new rulebook is a quantum leap forward for Traveller. I do miss the military flavor of the GDW-era books - but perhaps the new editions of Mercenary (?) and High Guard will scratch that itch. Back in the day, it was a big deal...

Excellent. I hope the equipment section will contain illustrations for every weapon (a la Traveller: 2300. Not everybody knows what a Gauss Rifle or PGMP look like.

I have no idea if he is still active, but I would love to see William Keith's work in Traveller again. Also Janet Aulisio.

Re: New to Traveller

I'm also preparing to run Traveller (probably start with one of the small scenarios in the Compendiums): I just got a copy of High Guard, copyright 2008. How can I tell if this is the latest printing?

Re: 2300 In Stock ?

Just ordered a copy from Amazon in the U.S. yesterday (along with the Secrets of the Ancients reprint), and received a notice today that it has shipped! I plan to visit my account every day to track the package's progress. On a tangential note, Kim Stanley Robinson's new novel might be of some inter...
