Is there by chance a repository for player created game aids such as Excel sheets for record keeping or the like?
These might give you a starting point:

Re: Questions about playing while Visually Impaired

I'll go check the old SRD then -- 2nd Ed Mongoose Traveller is still very close to the original Traveller, right? I had someone tell me this game is famous for "not getting updated". I just want to be sure that the basics are similar enough that I can get a feel for it :) Yup, pretty close will giv...

Re: Questions about playing while Visually Impaired

So Traveller does use maps for stuff then? Are they grid or hex? How complicated is the map usage, do you have any examples or know where I can find some? Both. Can download some 2D Deck Plans from here: http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/rpgs/traveller-1/high-guard.html For an example of hex ones y...

Re: 2300AD first edition: Hard or soft cover?

Depends on which book.

Hardcover (2300AD, Ships of the French Arm, Atlas of the French Arm, French Arm Adventures)

Softcover (Tools for Frontier Living, The Grendelssaga)

Not sure (Liberty, Libreville - Corruption in the Core Worlds)

Well, there are Concealed Compartments that hide in the fuel.

A quick read-through of the posts should make it clear that the rules are no more complete than the line of miniatures. Umm... We haven't posted the full rulebooks yet (of which there will be three in the set, all three almost complete - need to work on Coastal Invasions, the odd background piece, ...

Re: [Traveller Art]Kinunir Strike!

If Traveller were more tactical-like, the Kinunir wouldn't be able to engage targets to port/starboard with the barbettes because they could not swing to engage, just targets fore/aft. That was something I liked about SFB and Renegade Legion, moving the ships around the map to bring your weapon sys...

The rooms did seem small, so perhaps - in Traveller terms - two people share a stateroom, but the 4 dtons are split into two separate 2 dt rooms?
Barracks are 2 dtons per person.

Could try allowing for multiple selections, only being able to select one option is rather limiting.

Re: [Drinax] Harrier ship parts and which books?

You wouldn't need Scoundrel as far as that stuff goes. Scoundrel was 1st edition anyways, and everything in the Harrier Book is 2nd edition, and taken from Highguard. Central Supply Catalogue doesn't cover the ship stuff.

Re: Super-suite on a cruise ship

Plus, it's a spaceship, operative word on space. Cabins should be the last line of defense for exposure to vacuum. So a cabin really needs to be self- contained. Movable partitions should only be there if they could be sealed airtight and also not look like they were movable. Some cargo aircraft ha...

Deciding exactly which rooms to divide the available space into and how big they should be is something for the deck-plan design.
They don't have to be fixed, could have movable partitions and such to suit different occupants.

Is he an alien?
Is he an AI?
Is he actually a bunch of people all using this alias for their collective work?
He's a Hiver so has some extra limbs. Think he may also be part Bwap and can handle all those little details to keep things running smoothly.

Re: Missiles auto-loader?

And, lets not forget the bay rule - bays' can be either external or internal. Which just makes the rules less clear. Space need not be calculated down to the square meter, but it would have been nice if at least one of the rule sets had addressed this issue rather than kicking the indeterminate can...

If you take the default two people per tonne, and balance it off with a tonne of biosphere, you forego that two thousand schmuckers of life support costs, and half extra space to move about. It will cost you two hundred kiloschmuckers and an energy point, which you'll make up in sixteen years and e...
