Re: Which Real World Culture Needs a RuneQuest Book Next???

Im for the first civilisations in our history, long live Gilgamesh, may Baal forgive us or strike us down for not placing his culture on this list. Think of the cool producing/trading/military society that have a theocracy so intermingled with everyday life. In a way Gilgamesh could be the forefathe...

Its true, the ducks on page 61 doesnt look "Gloranthian". They look like a cross between 17 th century and sherlock holmes (the duck to the right). I agree with the discussion about artists spending more time with the "Gloranthian" theme. About textboxes, I think they are excellent, they divide the ...

Baboon showing colours

There have been many issues raised about MRQ. Map quality, earlier book quality and so on. I myself really miss some stuff concerning the "geopolitical situation" and think that Mongoose could do more to illustrate the where´s and when´s of the Glorantha second age (none of their basic resource volu...

Re: Whats the geopolitical situation?

Thats is late third age.
Yea, but its an example of a map that shows the geopolitical situation:
-Who´s who
-Who´s where
-Activities of importance

The discussion was about that Mongoose could do a little more to illustrate those questions in their material.

Re: New Spells

This was very useful. I will use them.

By the way, in the book "cults of glorantha - volume 1" on page 68 it is stated that there is a cult spell called ... "Lantern" ... i havent found it in any source yet, but now you show up an give us ... "Lantern".

What is this?

There is a WhitewallWiki site detailing the third age siege which is, or should be one of the epic highpoints of any third age Dragon Pass Lunar v Orlanth campaigns. They have some simple but good maps and some awesome artwork that was just so good that I got quite annoyed when I got History of the...

Re: Duck Book...soon...so soon

Hey all, I just thought that I'd drop you guys a note to stir up some duck love for the next couple of weeks. I just got to see the pre-print file for the book and I am VERY happy. It looks like everything I did made it into the final version, and 90% of the internal art makes me very happy. Especi...

Re: RuneQuest over the years

Hi all, I last played RuneQuest in 1993 when it was published by Avalon Hill. Has the game changed much since then? Mongoose worked wonders with Conan, so I wondering if RuneQuest had been refined or completely rewritten. Thanks in advance, Brisco. Nowdays its like Runequest 2, the version before t...

Re: rules question: improvement rolls

It says in the rules that skills can advance beyond 100%. It also says that to gain the highest possible increase you have to roll higher than your skill. How can you roll higher than 100%? Or do you have to automatically take the 1% increase? 96 - 100 is always a success! /Calle  Is that act...

For such a - let´s say 120 pages, 30 x 40 cm book in full colour - i would pay 200.00 Dollar/100 GBP. Eeeeexactly, your soo righ...

Eben means "recent" or "a moment ago", "riss" could mean "damaged".
