I feel great confidence for Loz's works. I'm eagerly waiting for the result. He is a author who dares, which the rarer and most precious quality for gloranthan creation.

You've got my support Loz !!!

What do you do usually as a GM when it isn't written into the rules ?

First you're not obliged to have a retrofit. Spell already acquired could have been acquired during unplayed Heroquests and this new rule could apply for new spells... or not (e.g.: play it only if it is fun, interesting or a hook for something else... and for the other spells, the GM just tells tha...

Hmmm my poor English has probably betrayed me somewhere... :? I didn't meant this for recharging (it could be boring each time) but for acquiring the same spell a second time, to get two times the same effect. Charging himself with the same power should bring more knowledge about the god (two times...

Divine spells & Heroquesting

 Reading Cults of Glorantha, I have just realized that one of my old Idea about divine magic was now easy to put in place. Instead of playing acquisition of divine spells like a trade (pay with points, you'll get the magic) which seems to me a little bit too much like supermarket business, I w...

Why not both altogether? A strong brithini colony + a seshnelan administration and population. Arolanit was first a brithini colony in the first age, where Arkat has spent some time. During the second age, brithini, being patient and cautious to stay unpolluted by mortal affairs, have left the power...

Interesting thread... but if talking is nice, action is more useful. Mongoose Publishing told us that a mega-dungeon isn't the priority... so... Why don't we set up a team of designers and build our own on some website? If each designer is specialized in some specific topic or faction, it can go pre...

Do you think these rules will be compatible with Glorantha ?
Lunars and later Argrath are said to be expert at this... This will allow us to play the Dragon Pass wargame at a RPG level!
Suddenly I see the wargame as a full campaign support with macro and micro developments...

Carmania, by its unique originality, would deserve a full book.
Nothing is quite the same here : philosophy, cults and even gods (e.g.: Humakt vs Hum'akt).

A full Spol culture is naturally a must.

But how do you do as a GM, when your players just want to go at the great battle of their time, where wall...

and at the end of your "bash-door, bash-monster, grab-treasure" quest toward the bottom... the party finishes on the hero plan where all the loot is spoiled, exchanged, sold or lost for a ticket back to the mundane world...
