Matthew Sprange,

Status of Book 20 for those of us who stayed with you and continued the Megadeal please?

Mark.

Re: Question for Matt: Mega Deal Refund Confirmation

Cool. Can't say fairer than that. Big thumbs up to Mongoose now the details of what they're offering are clear. It's the kind of customer service which really wins a company friends. Well done Matthew. While the LW franchise could have been handled better, your resolution to the situation is absolut...

Re: Where are the Lone Wolf MPRPG books?

With all due respect Matthew, I realise this is probably a hugely disappointing and stressful time for you but I shouldn't need to be chasing you. I have emailed you a brief note with my real name, but in fairness, that's all you should need, you've managed to mail out my books without any issue des...

Re: Where are the Lone Wolf MPRPG books?

This will take a few days to collate the information and start to make the refunds, but if you have a pre-order for any Lone Wolf book that will now not make it to print, we will be automatically refunding you. As I say, just give us a few days, if you could, as this will take us a little time. I p...

Re: Where are the Lone Wolf MPRPG books?

I can't say I'm surprised, the Mantikore news was the give away. The phrase "Couldn't organise an all day drinking session in a brewery." has dogged this project from start to finish. Sadly I've no interest in anything else in the Mongoose stable so I too will be looking for a cash refund on the out...

Re: Where are the Lone Wolf MPRPG books?

That's helpful. Come on Mongoose. It's not like we haven't put up with enough over the whole LW situation. It's really not that hard. See the little button at the bottom of the page marked "PostReply"? It's the way forward before an angry mob starts to form... BTW: Anyone know where to buy wooden to...

Re: So ... Book 18?

It's Ok Elizzar, I'm confident my frustration will be at an end any day now as a huge backlog of LW solo books pour through my letter box.

Until then, I've got my foam baseball bat to hand.

Re: So ... Book 18?

For about a fortnight I'd been itching to ask, but I thought I'd give it until 1st Feb before I stuck the boot in. I can usually rely on someone cracking before me. We should start a sweep stake on first to crack. :D The irony would be the book coming back from the printers just as February turns in...

Re: So ... Book 18?

Jolt: It's hard to disagree. As they say, actions speak louder than words... If I'm correct, the last time we saw any action was about thirteen months ago. I can recommend one of these http://bit.ly/Wz7eI5 to beat yourself around the head with. It helps with the frustration but doesn't do any seriou...

Re: So ... Book 18?

I don't think there's any fear of Joe losing interest in the project. Judging by interviews I've read and seen, the man's commitment to LW is phenomenal. It really is a Life's Work. I really don't believe he'd walk away from something he's put so much effort over so many years. There's a recent inte...

Re: So ... Book 18?

Clegane, I know exactly what you mean, at the time I had some misgivings about the Megadeal, but there was something of the 13 year old boy who first bought Flight From the Dark (and many more) who awoke and moaned and whined at me until I bit the bullet. He's now been sent to bed with a stern telli...

Re: So ... Book 18?

I don't think they've ever really been even close to the ballpark, but I'm sure that in the "State of the Mongoose" this year, there'll be another apology and a promise of "We'll do better next year." As that seems to be about one book every eleven months or so, it shouldn't be all that hard, but......

The guys are already cracking ahead with Stornlands 2 :) What about Stornlands 2 , should have been released in September (according to http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/releaseschedule ) ? If I were you, I wouldn't hold my breath... Just accept that Mongoose Time runs differently to People Time . ...

Re: News on Book 18, 19, Stornlands and more!

@MongooseAugust - Awesome, I love your "Dire" stuff. While many of the mini adventures have been excellent, Dire's continuing story tops the lot. I'd cheerfully buy full size 350 paragraph Dire books. Cough*hint*Cough. Roll on Book 19 in November (or December... Possibly January, maybe even February...
