Re: Elric Campaign (Google Site)

That's me! Brogan Torval rears his ugly head down under, still, it could have been worse, it could have been Nalkor Zakstrassan, eh Tarkhan?

Re: Shipping charges question

Here here, I got 5 books shipped to Australia for a mere 9 pounds, which wasn't much more expensive than when I was living back home in Northern Ireland.

Re: TB's Elric campaign

Yes, I had the misfortune of seeing a recent picture of Bear, tragic really, Tea Cosy clearly spends his cash on tea cosy's for his emo head and Trig, well, he's just Trig... Really enjoyed reading through these, reminds me of how much work you put in for our benefit, just to see the expressions on ...

Oh, tis with great dismay that I type, yet another of my NPC's dispached to the netherworld with neary one of the heros breaking sweat, it would seem that this adventure has been but a stroll in the glen. Oh well, perhaps the dice will fall in my favour as the action reaches a climax...

I think it's missing from RQ Slaine, what about using a persistence test, or as Tarkhan Bey suggested to me, opposed persistence and influence test, which would suit better as the old test was,a will save at DC 10 + half the Druids level + charisma bonus, so as to account for the Druids power level.

Other reasons for Slaine being cool, gaming last night, after the players had finished a battle, as soon as they got their hands on a barrel of heather ale the drinking began, very Celtic. Then, betting, in tje form of "bet you can't drop that ox with one punch" . Followed by the "debate" over the h...

I love all my players, Gareth's tea cosy, Tarkhan's wit, Bear's curls, Son of's frustration and well Trig, he's just special, my favourite. These guys make running Slaine a joy for me as they get so into the mood of tauts and celtic thinking. Best setting I've ever ran. I've been married, have two c...

Speaking as the clever GM that Tarkhan Bey spoke of, and I thank him, I've always loved Slaine, the Celtic mythos is as good if not better than any of the 'classical' mythos, the heros are larger than life and I feel I can realite to it more. Also with Mr. Bey playing, he makes running Slaine a plea...

Hard enough to shake the goth tag? eh, Tarkhan, surely you jest, YOU ARE A DODGY OLD GOTH, that shall never change. And yes, I've got up to issue 22 of S&P, I'm sure Trig would be able to scan them or something as long as we're not breaking any tribal laws, though, being Sessair, our laws are our ow...

There is a Crumlin in N. Ireland fairly close to Lough Neagh, but there's not much of the rest of the features. Near Belfast is Black Mountain and Cavehill, that's about the best I can do I'm afraid.

Very interesting points and well thought through.

Loud pipes save lives, means loud exhausts can be heard by people and less likely to look for the sound therefore cutting down risks to all road users.

Your right Standing Stone, while wearing my uniform, I have been subjected to a lot of abuse, both verbal and physical, and as a tattooed biker I have seen 'proper' people giving out the look of disgust. loud pipes save lives. This is how it is. Remember that is why we say that loud pipes save lives...

Oh and another point, the giants causeway is at least 25 miles from it and without a good pair of image intensifers and a complex series of mirrors, no-one will see it from mussenden temple.

Haven't seen the film, but been to the mussenden site, quite some ago. If memory serves right, it was built late in the 18th century by the bishop of Derry and served him as a libary, was based on some Italian temple, I think.
