Available today (which means they should be available in the future))

So, there should be no reason that something like that in a smaller package work for pistols too.

Re: Massive Traveller Reprint - Any Changes?

If any of the reprinted work has terrible art in it (like say, 2300AD's Tools for Frontier Living did in much of the equipment section) then now would be a good time to replace that with something that looks like it was done by someone who could actually draw and illustrate. I concur with the artwo...

Re: New setting for Traveller needed

CosmicGamer Sounds like the Amber RPG might work well for them Instead of doing a campaign (regular characters) style game, why not do some one shot games Tell them that you have a scenario in mind, give them the bare bone of the situation, any background about the game (it's like Star Trek, Star Wa...

Video of mother nature's engineering ability (ant's nest)

http://digg.com/video/what-you-get-when-you-pour-molten-aluminum-into-an-ant-hill Amazing 'hard copy' of an ant's nest. I first thought of Aliens and SciFi like things, but it also made me think of old fashion 'epic' level drow adventure. Anyway, this was more about sharing than anything. If anyone ...

Neat

Just a note though, in the fluff text box on the right side of the MK 2 you state that they do not share the twitchy fault, yet in the rules area, you state that they do

Re: Anyone played the through the veil?

Well, I produced it (developed, ram rod, overseer to get it done) So, technically, no I did not run it. But if have questions about it, please feel free to ask. If others can not answer them for you, I most likely will have some response for your questions. Thank you for considering Through the Veil...

Re: 20 diameter limit variant

It may very well be, after all Traveller's charted space is just a tiny region of the galaxy. There are lots of possible reasons why more advanced civilizations did not contact the inhabitants of this specific region of the galaxy in recent history, my preferred one would be that it is a kind of na...

Re: 20 diameter limit variant

Keep in mind that some worlds will be inside the 100d limit of their sun/star, which means that ship may not be able jump out/in one of the closer planets.

World's largest cave

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/0...n_3873341.html
The Son Doong Cave in Vietnam is the biggest cave in the world. It's over 5.5 miles long, has a jungle and river, and could fit a 40-story skyscraper within its walls.

But nobody knew any of that until four years ago.

Re: New setting for Traveller needed

IMHO the only point in publishing a new setting is if they can do things with it they can't do in the OTU, and I don't see how a setting with all the same tech assumptions and using all the same rules does that. Simon Hibbs Having a real frontier for one. That CAN'T exist in the 3I. There are tons ...
