The problem is your internal gravitic field would need to be upgrade to handle that much thrust or they would overload. You could shut down your G-Drive and then use a R-Drive, but how long can a crew function at 6Gs before blacking out? Even if everyone was in flightsuits and control couches, to ke...

I ran a Golden age of Si-Fi / Pulp fiction game useing ....... the old Champion Super Hero RPG rules on a low power seting. It was a blend of Jules Verne / Doc. Savage / Tarzan / Flash Gorden. I kept a tight reign on the few types powers the players could get and it worked ok. I see no reason you co...

The campain takes place over 11+ of it's the worlds. It has lots of backbround, like 3 pages on the exploration and setelment of the area. A good look...

At TL12 you get Nuclear Dampers, which leads to more balanced weapon mixes ........ Have they been invented yet in your seting? Nuclear Dampers lower the use of missile based fleets of ships, in the 3I to a large degree. But some Vargr and many Hivers fleets like to stay at longer ranges and pound t...

Replace the compact bridge, with a Hardened one. Git rid of that -1DM and keep your crew alive a bit longer.

In a missile heavy setting, Nukes are a crew killer. Hardening the bridge will allso protect your ships computer.

I use the A,B,C,D, ect drives as standard "off the shelf" models. With wide spread avaiable repair and maintance supplies. High Guard % drives and drive modifacations for the most part are custom built for a class of ship. While they use many of the same subparts, the biger drives are harder to get ...

Make up more of your own. I have lots of pre-human leftovers sprinkled here and there. Most of them are -not- from "The Ancients", but from the millions of years before and a few after.

Regarding Subsidized Starships. I couldn't find anything in the TMB on it either. HG doesn't have anything either. I don't have my Traders and Gunboats, but I don't remember it there either. I would use the CT rules until something is put out officially: CT (LBB 2) allowed government (planetary) su...

If the Traveller Adventure is on the CD use the Aramis Subsector as a starting point? Then add in Adventure 3, Twilight's Peak. To get them to the Regina subsector and when Tripwire comes out move them sinward to the Jewell Subsector.

Useing a 1.5 meter square and a ceiling height of 3 meters, you get ~14 cubic meters from 2 floor squares. This is 4 x 1.5 meter cubes per 1 dTon.

Allso some of them could be long term passengers, with a TAS membership and a fistfull of High Passage tickets? Alot depends on the type and number of pre-set encounters you are going to put in front o...

I have a TL 12 Jump-3 Scout/Courier IMTU. It has a 130 dTON hull and class B drives. Jump fuel use is 13 dTons per parsec. It is not as common as the TL 11 Jump-2 Scout/Courier, as drive cost is higher. It's main use, is to link up important worlds to the X-Boat network. Without the need to deploy X...
