Re: Noble Armada (Horton Hears a Who)

I actually bought the game to try and give my group a good starting point for learning the ACTA rules before all of the Starfleet stuff is rolled out. As a new player I'm pretty impressed by the amount of stuff already out for the game. Looking at what you get its a very good value for the price. I ...

I love the movie. I just recently read the book. They are both very good. The military action in the movie was very realistic and made me want to play it with Battlefield Evo. I'd love to see something even loosely based off this with the Traveller rules.

Are they going to be anything like the Foundry 2000AD minis? Their minis are sweet! I only wish they weren't so hard to get in the US. Shipping across the pond is a real pain in the wallet.

penny bases

I've never used pennies but I've seen them used by many FOW players(15mm WWII minis). I personally use the metal punchouts from electrical boxes (b/c I used to be an apprentice electrician and my job was to clean up the mess left over from the master electricians working. You'd never guess how many ...

Modern Combat miniatures scale

I have a ton of micro armor minis that would be great for a modern wargame.
What scale is Battlefield Evo Modern Combat scaled for?

Terrainaholic just came into possession of an enormous amount of SST minis boxed sets and is going to attempt to paint them all in just 4 days!

What happened to Nehwon?

Nehwon seems to have disappeared from the MRQ catalog.
I'm interested in purchasing both Lankhmar and Nehwon but I'd rather not buy Nehwon as a PDF. (I only buy PDFs as backups for my dead tree versions.)
Will it be in print again any time soon?

MRQ Fallout

Fallout was originally based on GURPS.
I'd like to see a post apocalyptic source book for Traveller.
It could help you design really war torn worlds where nuclear disasters and the like have happened.
Additional rules for mutated animals and people would be cool.

super (pocket) size me!

I'm already purchasing a couple of the pocket LBBS in addition to the regular sized book. I love the pocket sized versions of Mongoose's books and I've purchased a few that I wasn't interested in in the past just because of the small size. (I ended up wowed by them too which is also a reason why I l...

Somewhere close to the bottom-ish of the big mitten.

Jackson, MI There seem to be a whole herd of older gamers here who have played the older games but no heroquest, runequest or any similar glorantha-phile type of any kind. Heck. When the big historical minis convention happens in Lansing once a year (Sparta con I think it's called.) The local elder ...

RQ EVERYTHING!

I agree with most of this thread. I own the RQ core, Elric and Hawkmoon. I'm trying to convince my gaming group to give RQ a try. I have one convert so far. We don't play D20 and we all really dislike D20. I'm not saying "down with D20" because there are obviously some people out there who do play i...
