Will the errors listed in the stickty thread "summarized errata" be fixed in the reprints?

I'm glad I stopped buying Mongoose Lone Wolf books after book 4. Too much disappointed by the poor quality of the edition.

The Equipment section of book 4 was corrected? - Really? How about book 5 and 7? First printings of book 5 used the Equipment section of book 1 (with only the description of the map updated) too. (I also missed a reference to 'safe-keeping' which was included in all other editions of this book in H...

Books 4 and 5 with no equipment section and book 7 with the same equipment as book 6. Furthermore, the errata they published for book 4 also contains the book 6 equipment section.

Conclusion : they really have some problems with the equipment in each book!

Hope this will not be the case anymore.

It seems that book 6 is also printed without major mistakes (a few small errors like in every gamebook, nothing really important).

It also seems that last print of book 3 includes the 192 section.

On other thing I noticed. In this version of the book you are told to list the Silver Bow of Duadon as a special item not a weapon as in my old copy. If memory serves me right, doesn't the Grandmaster books consider it a special item? If so then this would correct that inconsistency. Yes, in furthe...

I think the bookmark is a nice idea, but I also think an errata online page would be great as well, as it can easily be updated.

The copies of Book 3 & 4 that I was sent last Thursday were missing section 192 and the middle of the equipment section respectively (I assume that these were from the new US print-run seeing as I ordered the books back in April and have waited until now to be sent them). Upon contacting Mongoose t...

EvilRedEye, do you have the new version of the new book 4 (so, printed in the US) or just the new book 4 (printed in the UK) ?

Still problems in book 4??!? This is becoming really annoying! I think I will sell my 3 CE books now because I don't really think Mongoose will become serious with Lone Wolf reprints. Six months after book 1, there should not be these kinds of errors.

I will wait for the comments on the paperback editions and if they are ok I will only buy the next books in this format, because the Collector's Editions are really horribly packaged, which is a shame considering their price. My copy of FftD is even better than my copy of FotW. Moreover the books ar...

I'm really disapointed to see that the new FotW is not revised, but rather just corrected... Indeed, Mongoose wasn't really clear about that, letting us think that all books were being revised. What's the purpose of rewriting the first book if the following books don't follow the changes. For me it'...

So, is the new FOTW as good as the new FFTD, with 550 sections as well?

Indeed the binding of the book is horrible. A good hardback book should lay opened on the table when you read it without needing your hands. For a book as expensive as this one, I really didn't expect that. My own copy is not defective but has some glitches. For example on two pages (I didn't find m...

I finally got my own copy. It is a little crooked at some edges and not really symmetrical but that's not a big deal as it is perfectly readable. So I can say I'm happy with my copy of FftD.

I still don't have the book... As I said a lot of days before, I pre-ordered it ont the 14th July... As I didn't receive it, I didn't pre-ordered the second book. Russel answered me one time in 6 or 7 e-mails, and said me that I should get the book soon. But it's now 8 days since he told me that, an...
