Will the latest and most updated version of this volume be sent out to us kickstarters too, as has been the case with the previous entries in the series?
I would love to know, too.

Re: Pirates of Drinax - How many ships fly the trade routes

The best way to figure out trade volume is probably the system in GURPS Traveller Far Trader. Some of the on-line maps include a "world trade number" figure (WTN), and from that you can get a "bilateral trade number" (BTN), which is the sum of the WTNs minus a distance modifier. With that, you get ...

Re: What would you like to see?

"Vanguard" reborn, or any sort of skirmish miniatures game based on Snapshot or Azhanti High Lightning. I'd love to get new 28mm Traveller minis, especially hard to find aliens like Aslan, K'kree, Droyne and Hivers (though I have to admit I did not enjoy the helmets of the Imperial Marines in Battle...

We are also going to try to do Aliens of Charted Space Vol. 2, though that is a little more of a stretch – this volume will bring the rest of the major races up to date, being the Solomani, Hivers, and Droyne.
Í would love to see the Vilani also included in Aliens of Charted Space Vol. 2!

Whatever shape the IM dress uniform is, make it maroon in colour, like in this pic by the late Andrew Boulton:

It's now also possible to sail directly into the wind with a rotating wing sail, but I cannot explain the physics of how that works :-)
Well - it was always possible to sail into the wind by tacking. <== Click link.

Re: A Traveller Miniatures Game?!!

Here is a quick scale comparison. Left to right: 1. Reaper Minis Nova Corp soldier, 2. Mongoose Street Judge (both "heroic 28mm"), 3. RAFM TNE RC Marine in light battledress and 4. Denizen Ventauran (the latter two in "True 25mm" scale, same size as Grenadier original 25mm castings). Note the differ...

Re: A Traveller Miniatures Game?!!

Note the Denizen Venturians are available in 15mm from Darkest Star Games, as well as some nice Vargr. Aslan and Droyne one still needs to go to RAFM. You can also find some 15mm Ventaurans/Venturians from Eureka Miniatures (Australia), They sort of kickstarted them some years ago: http://eurekamin...

Re: A Traveller Miniatures Game?!!

Note you are confusing licensee's Grenadier did the set in "true" 25mm, RAFM did the 28mm figures for TNE. Well, I have quite a bunch of those RAFM (and Grenadier) minis, and I can assure you they are not compatible in size with the newer "heroic" 28mm castings that have become the standard of this...

Re: A Traveller Miniatures Game?!!

What scale was Starship Troopers? Or Judge Dredd for that matter? Probably gives a bit of a hint anyway. Those were 28mm ("heroic 25mm"). If the new Traveller boarding action game uses that same scale, we could have the very first Aslan minis that size (you can find Vargr proxies, but finding Aslan...

And here it is: State of the Mongoose Jan 12, 2018 Traveller Miniatures Game: This idea has been pushed around for a few years, and we now know where we are going with it. The ‘strategic’ idea is to produce a handful of self-contained Traveller miniatures games over the next few years, rather than t...
