Thanks for the comments! :D

I haven't got round to making any Drakh yet I'm afraid, I've been busy painting these fleets up for our campaign so the others don't have to use counters. I'll probably make a start on them once most of the other fleets are painted.

Agents of Gaming are still selling ships so you may find what you need there. The company is out of business but the site is still being used to sell remaining stock.

Thanks. :)

Once I'm done with the Victory I'll probably move on to do the Drakh, since they're the biggest gap in the range. Starting off with the smaller ships, seeing as how they're the easiest.

Good luck with the jump gate!

Here it is! http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a321/eek_107/Babylon%205%20ACTA/Project/ISA/Victory1.jpg I'm rather pleased with it overall, although there's one or two minor alterations I'll be making for the next. It might be a few weeks before I get started on the second because I have 101 things t...

Aye, she's all painted up, I just haven't gotten round to taking a picture yet!
It'll be up shortly.

I'll write up a tutorial and make the templates as I make the Victory.

Thanks for pointing out the Tashkat eek and providing the pics. I read the thread that you provided a link to and have another question. Blue Star was listed as making an appearance on screen according to that thread. Do you happen to have a shot of it? Yep, I've got a few. Last episode of season 5...

Da Boss: I started a thread like that after I first came here, maybe that was it? http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=29528&highlight= Greg had caught a ton of ships that I'd missed. Garthim: No problem. There's also a couple of shots of the Brakiri Tashkat (lower right on all t...

Incidentally (just in case you missed it), the Kutai can also be seen (below the Warlock): http://www.jumpnow.de/p/movies/vitd/losttales_480.jpg

Things got busy for a while but this weekend I managed to make a lot of progress: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a321/eek_107/Babylon%205%20ACTA/Project/ISA/WIPVictory3.jpg I think all that's left is just to tidy it up a little and I can get stuck in with painting. After that I think I'll make th...

I think white or slightly off-white is best, depending on how the rest of the ship is painted. I use off-white (specifically, GW's Bleached Bone) but I use darker reds (Scab Red/Red Gore) - but I have quite a dark style in general. For brighter reds, I'd probably go closer to pure white.

Thanks, I think the can approach sounds best. The Drakh raiders should indeed be simple enough. I think I should be able to pull off the styrene sheet method for the larger ships, I'll need a few of them so it sounds like a more efficient method. Although for the mothership and carrier I think I'll ...

Fleet Action Excalibur

Hi folks! I've started collecting Fleet Action ships. To get around the gaps in the range I've decided to scratchbuild them, starting with the Excalibur. Here she is so far: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a321/eek_107/Babylon%205%20ACTA/Project/ISA/WIPVictory2.jpg Measures at just under 3" long. ...

Fleet Action Shadows

Hi folks, I was just wondering if there was any difference between the Fleet Action Shadow Dreadnought and the Cruisers? It's hard to tell from the pictures on AoG's store but they look like the same mini. Is there a size difference between them?

Thanks in advance. :)

I think the general consensus is that they should be roughly the size of the fighter counters, which is what, a 1" square? Seems a pretty good size to go by.

Mini numbers don't matter. After all, the counters don't even have any models stuck on them. :P

Yeah, the older stuff can be a bit bad (I don't think I have a single Starfury (out of well over 100) with all 4 engines fully formed) but the new ships are great. The Jumpgate had hardly any flash at all... just those little vent thingies.
