Can you point me out to any valid link to buy the books you cited (including Age of Chivalry)? BTW, I'm only looking for PDFs, I don't have any room anymore for paper books in my home...

Re: Does Mongoose have any plans for Legend?

The thing that I find really discouraging is that Mongoose won't even mention the books that are in the queue. I can see not announcing a release date, but at least tell us what is sitting there. Like we have a book of adventures, a new arcania magic book, etc.

Could you tell us what the six books are about since they are already written?

Why does waiting on art mean you can't tell people what the book is about content wise?

Re: Classic Fantasy Coming to the Legend System

Another quick question - since you will be using the SRD in a way that you couldn't for the BRP version, will you be releasing any of the content from the Legend version of Classic Fantasy as Open Game Content? Its a little to early to tell, but more than likely not. Definitely not the whole book i...

Re: Sorcery and Grimoires

Yes, you have it correct. Although it was meant to be flexible, one of the problems is that there isn't really any default examples in the core book to use for a quick "starter" campaign. It would indeed be nice to have a half dozen or so "typical" schools (grimoires) given. The Deus Vult core book ...

Re: Free PDFs

I certainly don't want to dissuade you from your work, but I think one of your premises is flawed. Every background gives you 200 skill points worth of skills, be they bonuses to common skills, or free advanced skills (at 10 points a pop, per the usual rules for learning new advanced skills. And ea...

G+ d100 Roleplaying Games Community

If anyone is on G+, they've started a new feature called Communities. I started one for Legend and other games in the d100 family of games.

Re: Free Skill Points, Magic, and You!!

I would allow the player to use the starting Free Skill points towards any skill (including Divine Magic), but what works for your group is the "right" answer. :-) Remember Legend Page 3 states: Forge your own Legend These rules offer a detailed roleplaying framework and most players and Games Maste...

Re: Legend/RQ6 Magic and Dark Sun

Ah, okay. The original Dark Sun boxed set assumed Wizards to receive the same number of spells per day as default AD&D 2E so I'd just leave the default Legend recovery rate of POW. However, depending on what you do with Defiling vs. Preserving you could use recovery rate as a distinction between the...

Re: Legend/RQ6 Magic and Dark Sun

For Psionics, there are three main choices I think. 1. Legend Common Magic 2. RQ6 Mysticism 3. BRP Psychic Abilities You can always mix Legend/RQ6/BRP types of magic. So maybe you use BRP's Psychic abilities for Psionics, but RQ6's Divine magic for elemental priests. I'm not sure what you mean by "r...

Re: Creating character with Common Magic as Advanced Skill

If it helps, RQ6 has it set up so that characters that start with magic know a number of spells equal to 1/20 (p. 177) of the starting skill value. E.g. 60% would be 3 spells. However, it also states in the Folk Magic (Common Magic) section (p. 184) to use 1/10 instead of the 1/20 for characters who...

Status of Necromantic Arts?

It's not on the Mongoose site under Legend books, it's not on rpgnow.com under Mongoose's stuff or under Design Mechanism's "old" Runequest books, and I don't see it as an upcoming title on the release schedule.

So what is the status of this book? Getting updated to Legend? Out of Print forever?
