Just realized thats a work day, I dont get off work until 5pm and its at least two to three hours from my work to lancaster county.
I could definitely make it on a weekend but weeknights are out sadly.

Another Eastern PA player
Ive run a couple demos at my LGS in south Philly suburbs. Delaware County. I have one other player putting a force together and a couple others waiting until some more models come out. MY LGS owner has sold only two books and the figs I have bought from him. Availability has been a big problem for h...

So the idea will be to have a little mini flying Robot with each squad, tactically linked into thier battlefield managment gear? you know they will start naming them, and painting them up, giving them logos and stuff. It will be like having a pet dog that can fly and doesnt crap in your track. I WAN...

Then I bow to your sources, and forgive me if I try to pick your brian for as much non classified data as possible  When you say 2008 are you talking about demonstration model of a new vehicle or integration of of FCS systems into current platform ( i.e M1 chassy) Are we talking the high pressu...

Thats FMBT basically upgunning the M1 with the high pressure 120mm and the Raytheon active protection system (political hacks!) along with some Fire control system upgrades and further advances in the battlefield managment system,Its the interim program designed to hold us over until FCS takes the f...

Problem is that FCS is not slotted until 2020 and thats for a demonstration model ! That could give mother russia a solid decade in which it has a signifigant advantage in armor quality before the FCS leapfrogs it with all that crazy star wars crap. ( Laser active defense system?, multi barrel rotar...

thats right, Black Eagle is an export model , lost the competition to the t-95 for the next gen soviet tank but was too good to throw the idea away. They both are based around a new soviet tank gun but rumors are contradictory as to whether they settled on a 135mm or a 152mm. My money is on the 135,...

T-95, Black Eagle, FMBT M1
Any chance of seeing any of the new really high speed future tanks later on? All three of the T-95, Black Eagle, and FMBT M1 are supposed to see the field by 2015 ( asuming they dont get cancelled ) in limited numbers. And all are fully realized technology now. They would be no more speculative than...

I will be there as well, and Im trying to convince a few more to hop in my truck for the trip.
Anyone between here (south philly) and indy who needs ride or cargo space let me know, I have a longbed chevy with extended cab so I can take four comfortably along with virtually unlimited gear.

Have to say loved the book, mine was top notch quality expecially for the price and the extra rules change the game signifigantly, adding a large measure of added depth and varieity. Im just hoping MGP can get the product out here in the states in sufficient volume to meet demand and help us to incr...

With all due respect Hiro, and you are da man as ive said before. I read all the links and the only reference to the armament of the future lynx make no mention of any form of ATGM. And though I disagree with him in principle, i have to agree with EPeng that none of the available data shows tows or ...

I'd want (as would my gamers) official stats, one is a playtester so I get to use the Tiger. Ok now thats just wrong. so if you quit, can I get your unit cards  Seriously though, It seems to me that your more upset about no british apaches than with field mods on the lynx. Since mgp has allre...

I don't want "hypothetical helis" I want those 60+ Apaches Ok, now thats an argument I can understand, but seriously I dont see why it would be so bad to just use pieta's unit cards and a 1/64 scale apache if you want a longbow with your brits that badly. Your allready proxying a non MGP Tigre, why...

did have to reply on the idea that military equipment does not evolve or change quickly. That is true in peacetime, but the exact opposite is true in wartime. The amazing speed of change that can take place within and armed force during wartime make peacetime speed seem truly glacial in comparison. ...

much better than 40k
As a fifteen year 40k veteran I have to say BF is far superior. It is very well balanced ( nothings perfect but it is far less flawed than most point systems ) It is also an excellent balance between realism and ease of play. Its no simulation, but units behave mostly how they should and most import...
