I’d still really like to see points for refits, even if only advisory ones. Playing V@S1 campaign it always felt the Germans needed the Scharnhorst sisters with 15” guns to be competitive against the RN.

A natural 6 not a hit....

Hi all, Haven't played in a few years but just dug my ships out & looking forward to playing again, especially seeing that there's a VaS 2.0 on the horizon! In the meantime I have a rules question that I can't remember & can't work out. Under firing it says a 1 is always a miss but a 6 isn't always ...

Scharnhorst Class

I've been thinking of allowing upgunned Scharnhorst Class vessels in a campaign I'm running armed with the 15" (38cm) guns that the Germans had planned on installing. The problem I'm having is should it be a Battle or War level ship. On the surface (no pun intended) it looks similar to Hood & Renown...

Which are certainly a few of the reasons why I thought that Battle was high for a carrier with 7 flights. Even with a torpedo belt.

Anyone else got an opinion? DM?

Hi there all, just a quick question and I appologise for creating a new thread for it if that is the wrong thing to do. In the Kriegsmarine list (p.58) is has the Graf Zeppelin listed as a Battle choice whereas in the VaS book it is a Raid choice and yet this isn't mentioned at the top of the same O...
