Bismark points cost ?

Hi Matt I received my Starter set and Kreigsmarine + Bismark today and overall it looks good . I did spot some typos on the ship cards but the one which got my attention the most was Bismarks Points cost at 450. Do you know if this is correct or a typo as Scharnhorst is at 425 as well. In your V2 ru...

Depth Charges?

Hi Matt I listened to your pod cast with Warlord and it was very interesting, i have the Warlord rulebook, picked it up off EBAY as i am still waiting for my actual warlord order to arrive :( couple of questions 1: What has happened to DEPTH CHARGES? 2: Do ASW/Observation aircraft are not capable of...

KAGA V2 points ?

Hi

I have the December pack which i think was the last one and was wondering about the points cost for the Kaga carrier at 375 points.

This seems really high as she is no better and in fact slightly worse than the Lexington

Is this a typo ?

Thanks

Armour 7+ for KGV, Nelson but not for Iowa?

Hi all

I am no expert do will ask openly why the Iowa's which were considered the best overall battleship design I would like to ask what parameters led to this.

I have a few naval books and after looking at a couple for Stats I am a bit puzzled why the Iowa class are not 7+ too ?

Thanks

Re: Victory at Sea Layout

Definitely the second one for me.

Matt, is that an A4 page ?, and if so is there room on page 33 to list the aircraft flights by year at all, rather than have to do a supplement or extra pages ?

Thanks

Re: Refits - Let's Sort Them Out!

I really like the refits, they are great for historical battles. Not sure why you dont want to use them for tournaments, as long as the points reflect the upgrades its fine Also adds depth to the rules , dont drop them Matt As mentioned before the air groups for carriers through out the war is somet...

Re: carrier flights ?

That's seems a bit poor considering the amount of research that has gone into this second edition. Perhaps a document like the refit could be done with lists for carrier flights throughout the war ? I know for example Ark royal had swordfish and fulmars at the start of the war but how many flights o...

I think it is this

QE and valiant got a more extensive refit than the other 3 so the other 3 got an elevated degree of fire during refit to compensate - hence the longer firing range they have

Navwar or skytrex, are there differences in the size/scale, eg is the navwar baden larger/smaller than Skytrex

Which are the best models ?
