Rare books include a full set of the Masks of Pavis campaign (all five companions), all volumes of the Book...

Ten books actually, with the two campaigns taking it up to a total of 12

1979 LBBs, bought for me at Christmas by my older brother. Didn't have a clue what they were about, neither did he, all he knew was they looked cool!

You'd really need to set up your own forums in order to run this, as the threads can get pretty long and you'll ultimately need many threads to make it work - for an example of what I mean, see www.district268.com

I have to say though, as a player in this, it really is great fun!

When I first saw the deckplans, I got a rather warm cosy feeling inside...what does that mean?

Should I seek help?

Agree with the OP - this looks to be a great scenario! Lots of options, lots of Traveller goodness, I'm very much looking forward to playing it.

I'm not sure as to when exactly the Upland Marsh was created in the second age (Delecti appears to be a living human being in the Glorantha - The 2nd age sourcebook). But this in itself could also be an interesting campaign. It would be nice if someone with more Gloranthan knowledge could answer th...

9 players is probably more suited to a Play-by-Forum game, where everyone can join in and that number of players means once you get a reasonable number of replies you can (as the GM) move the game forward, without waiting for everyone to respond.

It is odd that Glorantha, the RQ flagship product, doesn't have it's own set of rules. The core rules are not a great fit, and a separate rulebook would have made a lot of sense. They could then have resolved a whole bunch of issues with Glorantha, keeping us players happy, while keeping the core ru...

I am also using a counter system to track rounds. Each player has a red counter for each combat action in a round and a blue one for each reaction, (I use casino chips). When you attack, you throw your counter in a "hat". Each round you start again. Seems to work ok with the combat tests I've run. ...

Meanwhile, doing that solves one of the major realism problems in the game. It's no loss to anyone who never cared about it beforehand, and a big gain for those who do. I'm seeing nothing but advantages to changing the sizes, and no disadvantages. Amen to that! Can't understand the resistance mysel...

For a pure western setting or even one with little fantasy the RQ would be very good, certainly better than the rabid and cancerous dog [1] that was Deadlands or indeed any version I have seen Notes 1. Not a random insult but carefully chosen words: it grew wildly hence cancerous and was a terrible...

Sorry to be so rude about this but the level of mistakes in MRQ is absolutely shocking. There is no mechanic for comparing STRs, the writers should have known this. As much as I try and defend MRQ at times (and I really do), I have to agree with this. I play with guys who have a very strong D&D bac...
