Re: Victory at Sea: Ironclad Announcement

How is this coming along? I'm looking at minis, itching to see some rules.

Re: Victory at Sea: Ironclad Announcement

Careful Matt, I might be tempted into getting this.

But not to refight Hampton Roads  Watched two guys do that once. No idea which rules or models, but 6-8" models, circling an island, not getting any shots off all night. Killed nothing but time.

Just waiting for it to hit WV.

Getting back to jdmg?

I have the old rules and Block War downloads for Judge Dredd. I passed on the Kickstarter, but just acquired the Dark Judges cheap from a friend and fancy playing some games in mc1.

What changes between the old and new do I need to look out for?

Re: BREAKING NEWS - Mongoose & Warlord Dredd Partnership

I'd be reassured rather than worried by this. Getting a great manufacturer like Warlord involved can assure JD's future as a game, and I am now much more inclined to take a look at it.

Re: We Need Your Help - Kickstarter!

Well, the clock ran out with a massive shortfall. What happens next, seeing as it's still available for pre-order (Delivery September 2011 )? What about the rest of the board game pre-orders? Devil's Dice, Sedan Chair Racing and Meerkat Slammers have all been on pre-order for months, but no dates an...

Re: We Need Your Help - Kickstarter!

I look at this and can't help thinking of Chainsaw Warrior from GW. Still got that somewhere, without the minis, unfortunately.

You might want to change the store entry here http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/board ... assin.html. It's listed as pre-order for September 2011 release.

How about the cloaked Roms? Any word, or are they now dead in space?

Wow, that's a bigger license than I thought you might go for. Details awaited with much interest, especially with Prometheus just around the corner.
Do models, please.

Stop trying to drag me back into being a customer.

Re: VaS 2.0 confirmed!

Producing home-brew counters for WW2 ships is relatively easy. The artwork is out there just waiting to be snapped up. Somewhere around here I've got 1:3000 counters for most of the Soviet navy of WW2. Just simple stand ups that I made using Word and side views grabbed form the net, which are out th...

That would require resetting the entire pdf, so I very much doubt it would happen.

Re: New Errata

I don't have an issue with errata, all games systems have them (apart from Flames of War, not that it doesn't need it!), but if Matt is going to make statements like
It is not us that is insisting on these additional changes.
ADB will get very pissed off very quickly.

Setup costs for plastics are massive in comparison to metal. If metal isn't cost effective, plastic has no chance.

Re: ESG poll

ACTA:SF is supposed to be bringing new players in who know nothing about SFB and all its acronyms. How else am I supposed to find out without asking?

Scoutdad explained it, without the attitude, for which I thank him.

If new players aren't wanted, fine, we'll stay away.
