Samurai of Legend: Where are those Ki Abilities?

Hi there! On top of p. 83 of "Samurai of Legend", a number of new Ki Abilities (Heroic Abilities) are listed for various monks. However, I cannot seem to find them. Those missing include the following: "Destiny Map", "Life Giver", "Perfect Blow", "Soothsay", "True Sight", and "Storm of 1,000 Blows"....

Re.: New direction of Mongoose?

Hi there! It has been some time since I have last visited the site. Things appear somewhat different over here at Mongoose. The company used to produce tonnes of role-playing books but now I see more miniatures and such. Has it effectively stopped producing role-playing games? Many of the titles are...

Dragon Warriors and Tetsubo

Hi there!

I would love to see the material that Dave developed for Tetsubo make its way into Dragon Warriors. Yamato is an amazing part of the world, which is crying out for a setting book!

Any one out there feel the same about this part of Legend?

Kind regards

"In From the Cold" Release date?

Hi there! Over at Magnum Opus Press the following was stated: "In From The Cold—in the 1980s Dragon Warriors co-creator Dave Morris was one of the most prolific contributors to White Dwarf magazine, writing fan-favourite articles under a variety of pseudonyms. In From The Cold collects the best of t...

RPG page count?

Hi there!

Has the page count changed for the new rpg? I seem to have recalled that it was something like 140 pages when it was first advertised....

Is this a mistake?

Lankhmar: What is actually required to play?

Hi there, I just want to know what is required to play RuneQuest Lankhmar. In the preview it makes mention of the RuneQuest main book, RuneQuest Companion and RuneQuest Arms and Equipment. It states that the last two “are not required but may also prove useful." Is this really the case, or are they ...

AVP in 2010?

Hi there!

I was just thinking about the new licences for 2010. Is AVP on the table now that Mongoose is part of the Rebellion Group?

Re.: Dave Morris's "Tetsubo"

Hi there! A couple of months ago I was able to get hold of a copy of Dave Morris’s “Tetsubo” (courtesy of Robert Rees). This has been a most intriguing read. Although originally written for “Warhammer” – and in itself not yet a complete manuscript - it is Dave’s vision of Yamato … and what a fascina...

Re.: Lankhmar 2009

Hi there! With reference to "a mighty tome that will be the definitive guide to Fritz Leiber’s great setting" (State of the Mongoose, 2008) will this follow the lines of: a) Green Ronin's "The Pirate's Guide to Freeport"; or b) A Compilation of existing information from "RQ Lankhmar" and "RQ Nehwon"...

Lankhmar magic

Hi there! The original AD&D release of ‘Lankhmar’ included rules for elemental magic (Based upon ‘Tome of Magic’) so as to mirror abilities of ice shamans and the like. Will this be included in the new RuneQuest sourcebook, or not? What about other types of sorcery? Will white wizardry, for example,...

As this was previously announced by Mongoose back in December of 2005, anyone there care to comment on the status of this book?

Thank you.

Fighting Fantasy!

Hi there!

Along with Lone Wolf, this one is probably the most influential series of the gamebook industry during the 1980's. I know that Myriador intended to publish this, but as yet there is no main book.... Any thoughts as to whether Mongoose should pick this one up?

Hi there!

Will these be released in 2006 - or, have you decided to close this OGL line?

Thank you.
