    VAS Version 1

I'm a VaS1 player too. I got 4 large fleets at 1/3000 from Navwar (German, British, US and Japanese). I love these rules, they are easy to play, may be a little hard to understand as far as radar and/or night/bad weather are concerned, but generally it's ok. I read Vas2, and I think it was not...

    Welcome to the Open Playtest

Well, I don't want to be insulting, but when I read all the comments, and all the questions about VAS II, it seems to be an untidy draft copy. I'll keep on with VAS I and OOB rules which seem to me to run well and to call for no question, just needing common sense. Even if the first rules...

Victory at Sea Playtesting - Basic Rules

hummmm, Nelson, Lion and N3 Classes are still over powerfull, is it a good idea to increase their armour to 7+ ? Remember, ships with small guns not gathered into turrets don't have the +1 to damage at long range, as far as they can shot at this range.

    Balancing VaS

Thanks for these informations, and excuse me for my poor english. 1) Speed over 7" The -1 penalty for targetting fast ships is the same than the -1 penalty for targetting at long range. Nobody complains about not hitting Battleships or Cruisers when at long or extreme range. Try this : if you...

    Balancing VaS

Hi, I'm interested in a debriefing. What scenario did you play ? What was the level ? How many FAP ? I never played US or Japanese navy. I played a lot of games with RN or KrM and I find the game well balanced. We decided to start a Pacific Campaign with one of my friends and I play USN. I...

How many subs can I try to detect?

I desagree page 18 OOB Ships with the Sub-Hunter trait may try to detect any submersibles that have not yet been revealed. Whenever a Sub-Hunter ship moves into a new square on the table, roll a die. On a six, all submersibles within that square will automatically be revealed. The submersible...

Selecting a priority level unit 2 levels less than the game

Take care With a War allocation POINT you can get 2 battle level SHIPS not 2 battle level POINTS, OR 3 raid level SHIPS not 3 raid level POINTS Example 1 war point gives 2 battle ships so you get 2 Battle SHIPS, OR 6 patrol SHIPS if you consider that it's converted into 2 battle points ...
