Maybe I read the announcement wrong, but my interpretation was that the SRD would be public (thus also allowing fair use) and serve as the base on which compatible materials would be made.

True, but I'm more concerned about the volume disparity when constructing vehicles in that a turret capable of mounting a starship weapon requires 4 vehicle spaces - making up 1 cubic metre (1,000kg) - while a starship turret mounting the same weapon requires 1 dTon, or 14 cubic metres.

I like the VHB and second the desire for more art. But if there were an update focussed on consistency among systems, keeping volumes (tons versus dTons) consistent might be important as well as the fusion/power issue. A space in the VHB is 0.25 cubic metres, which is perfectly reasonable, but...

I've always thought the Microkinesis description to be a little vague, unless it's just me being dim. I've always thought that having the relevant skill, such as Medic for conducting microsurgery, should be necessary. A psion who doesn't know what they're doing is as likely to kill as cure...

If the psion is trained at an imperial psionics institute and then employed by the Imperium, why not just use Telepathy to implant a suggestion of loyalty? It would be less crude (or detectable) than a cortex bomb, and exactly how the suggestion is worded could create a lot of leeway of action...

Just riffing here, but I suppose one possibility is for Athletics 0 to remove any negative DMs resulting from low characteristic scores - the training in technique overcoming the physical deficit, as it were.

And the description for Technicians on p.268 says they're "intended for mental and technical tasks." Maybe that should be "menial".

I'm loving this update of Classic adventures so far, but spotted a couple of minor errors. p.89, second column, first paragraph, "She will not leave her this world unless absolutely unavoidable." The "her" is superfluous. p.136 & p.137 The Fuller Station staff numbers are inconsistent. On...

p.31, "undisguisable" should be "indistinguishable". And now I'm going to cease my pedantry for today and just enjoy reading.

And p.17, sub-heading "Unusual and Paculiar Object Mass" should be "Unusual and Peculiar Object Mass".

Like the book, but...page 2, paragraph 5, "different tact" should be "different tack".

It's good to see the revised version, but the covers and quite a lot of the corrections seem to be missing.

And they're looking good. However, the two uses of "providence" on in the Find Details table on page 7 should read "provenance", and "differ" on page 9 (fourth line from bottom) should be "defer". Unfortunately, these are the kinds of errors that spell and grammar checkers won't detect, only...
